We're sad to report that Ninfa Garza passed away last night.
Ninfa Garza was a beloved entrepreneur, leader and grandmother to Jackson County Legislator Theresa Garza Ruiz - She was instrumental in getting the young Legislator elected given that she was universally beloved and spoke with a great deal of credibility throughout Kansas City's Latino community and beyond.
Given the passing of Genaro's mom and now Theresa's Grandma . . . TKC would like to express our deepest condolences to the Garza Ruiz family who are enduring a great deal of loss this month.
