A Glimpse @ Mayor Sly's Reading Program

Credit where it's due . . . Mayor Sly James has accomplished some very important work improving literacy in Kansas City with his reading program. Take a look:

Now the criticism - Mr. James didn't have to become Mayor to help improve literacy in Kansas City and while the reading program is a really nice endeavor . . . It doesn't make up for a legislative agenda that's mostly focused on development.
