Two weeks ago to this very day TKC ACCURATELY PREDICTED THAT THE KANSAS CITY STAR WOULD BORINGLY ENDORSE PREZ OBAMA'S REELECTION!!!

Additionally, we predicted their endorsement would boringly regurgitate DNC talking points and wouldn't offer any kind of local connection or "distinctly Kansas City reason" to support the reelection of Prez Obama.

AND NOW IT HAS COME TO PASS!!! THE KANSAS CITY STAR ENORSES PREZ OBAMA FOR REASONS THAT DON'T IMPACT THE PEOPLE OF THIS COWTOWN ONE BIT!!!

Keep President Barack Obama in the White House

Of course, readers have to pretty much leave a blood sample and social security number in order to comment on this political opinion.

And, once again, it's important to remind Kansas City that political endorsements from a newspaper cut through the veneer of objectivity and show us where the Dead Tree Media organization is really coming from . . . It's only the rarest of exceptions where editorial doesn't drive reporting . . . Even worse, I think it's more interesting to see where readers might stand but there's not much hinting at these facts.

Nevertheless, this is how The Star will go down . . . As not only predictable but unwilling to adapt to a digital world that's constantly changing.

In the final analysis, it's clear the endorsement won't do Prez Obama any good and it seems the same can be said for the paper playing politics as well.

    Educate yourself. Obama is covering up and manipulating this country, such as in Benghazi. He refuses to answer direct 'yes' or 'no' questions on the attack. His entire state department is in on the cover up.

    Read back over Obama's speeches over the last four years. What are his top priorities? Everything! He panders to whatever group he's addressing. Do the research, and you'll find you can insert energy, defense, education, jobs, tax cuts for middle classes, health care, tax increases for rich, clean energy, Medicare, Social Security, Obamacare, housing market have ALL been called Obama's top priority by Obama.

    By the way, Obama's job czar is the head of GE, who pays virtually no US tax and off-shores the majority of their manufacturing jobs.

    Obama cannot be trusted. His experience as a community organizer and brief stint as a US Senator (months instead of years) has ill-prepared him for the role of president. His personal philosophy and anti-capitalist, anti-colonialist mentality works against America's success.

    Romney is far from perfect. But he's light years better than Obama.

    If you are still undecided or leaning Obama but aren't totally sure, watch the movie Obama 2016. It is eye-opening, persuasive, but most of all, educational and enlightening. Those nagging concerns about Obama will suddenly make sense and the pieces will fall into place. You'll know and understand a lot more about Obama; you won't like what you see.

In his interview at the chess club, Mark (I won't call him Funk for similar reasons that I won't call you SuperDave) said that one of his brothers said, 'Don't put your pieces in the center, till they'll stay there.' That was me. I didn't say it to him, I said it to our brother Eric. Apparently, Eric repeated it to him.

    When Mark & Gloria met it was at Salem College as he has said, but what he passed over was the he was a teacher & she was a student. Naturally, he didn't want the people of Kansas City to know this, as some people would think it was an abuse of his position. At the time he was living on Water Street in Salem. After they were married in July, 1979 at our parent's home on German Ridge overlooking the Ohio River, they bought a house on Lake Floyd, which is half way between Salem & Clarksburg. One of the other students he was fucking, Beth Ann, still lives there. Now that she is an adult, she realizes that his behavior was inappropriate.

    So, either I'm Byron Funkhouser, or a very creative writer which, of course, I'm not. Being good at math, I didn't take any writing courses.
