TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!! UPCOMING LAYOFFS IMPACT JACKSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE!!!

A quick bit of follow-up on recent Jackson County layoff news.

Thanks to TKC TISPTERS we've recently heard from a couple of sources that

THE JACKSON COUNTY PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE COULD TAKE A HIT IN UPCOMING LAYOFFS AND AS MANY AS 15 WORKERS MIGHT GET A PINK SLIP!!!

Now, County Executive Mike Sanders said he would attempt to be strategic about upcoming layoffs and try to encourage buyouts and similar strategies that wouldn't impact services.

However, like the rest of the populace, upcoming layoffs and cutbacks could be a challenge for Prosecutor "Mean" Jean Peters Baker who will now be forced to do more with less.

DEVELOPING . . .

  3. To bad Sly isn't one to be laid off.

  4. Maybe she can fund the office with damages from Bishop Finn.

  5. Just what they need when they don't prosecute the MAJORITY of crimes as it is.

  6. Sorry for the people who lose their jobs, but in the scheme of things - 15 less county jobs is just not a headline. All the necessary work will get prioritized and done, and at less cost to taxpayers. That is a good thing.

  7. They need to use Sly's no layoff system. Nobody gets laid off, not even firemen. And he hires expensive "yes men" for the Mayor's office. How does he do it? just keep on raising taxes.

  8. Sly sold us out!

  9. Actually, layoff in the prosecutor's office are a big deal. These are skilled jobs and work that can't just be overloaded to other staff. When u fire prosecutors and their support staff the impact on the street is felt immediately. This isn't corporate work shipped to India but Republican thugs. This is a public safety cutback plain and simple. Too bad the thugs in Jeff city can't see it or don't care.

  10. "Republican thugs?" what have you been smoking?

    ReplyDelete
  11. Just another example of KCMO/Jackson County not being serious about public safety. No raises for the KCPD, electonic toys for the east side, and fewer prosecutors. And the homicides continue at the rate of about two a week in KCMO.
Who's going to look out for the riders on the streetcar going to the new taxpayer-subsidized downtown hotel?

  12. Well, if you look at the poor job the did in getting justice for Yuli Ives it might be fitting.

Remember the feral muslim negroid that shot a white man in the head twice and stabbed him 23 times because he was having a bad day and the sentence was 15 years. He might serve 11. That prosecutors offices needs to get rid of some dead weight

  13. Quiet small dick, the grown ups are talking about public safety, you have no influence or standing.

This will look bad for Mike if he decides to run again.

  14. Raise some taxes.

If she did not just dress like a little boy, I might have an interest in Mean Jean.

As it is, I have to condemn her to burn in hell for attacking my Godly Friend Bishop Finn.

  16. I thought the prosecutors where affiliated with the local 42's Fire union...layoffs?...guess they are getting sold out too... if you drag hose you will always win!

  17. Fuck the International Association of Fire Fighters, their selfish greedy motives are one of the many reasons this country is in the shitter.. The IAFF requested all its members to vote for Obama...now look where we are!!! Support your local FF's they could give 2 shits about your life, they may respond to try to save your life but in the end its got nothing too do with you!

  18. It's time for some new leadership at the County. Enough with amateur hour.

Your time is up Mike & Co.

  19. I prefer Sly's laid often program he has with Cindy Irco. A little cafe au lait on a cool fall morning.

  20. We've seen fire fighters scold tax payers before, but most aren't as elegant, genuine, and self-aware as the KCFD is here:

“We are Fire Fighters. We are not gladiators. This isn’t the Roman Coliseum. Tax Payers pay their hard-earned money to depend on us when we fail with response times and actually giving a shit about them. I believe they (tax payers) can boo, they can cheer,(which they won't) they can do whatever they want … we’re lucky to have this job and play this game. It’s hard economic times, and taxpayers still pay the money to support us and we could care less, as long as we get everything we want.

“There are long-lasting ramifications to the game we play … I’ve come to the understanding I won’t live as long because I play this game. (Karma) That’s OK. But when you cheer somebody getting knocked out, I don’t care who it is, and just so happened to be Matt Cassel, Louie wright, Smokey Dyer, Sly james, the city council ( a performance failure) it’s 100 percent Appropriate. I’ve been in some rough times on some rough fire calls, I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life to work for the Kansas City Fire Department, than in this moment right here.

“I get emotional about it because these guys never work their butts off. Matt Cassel hasn’t done anything too earn his pay … hasn’t done anything to the media writers who state facts, and has done everything wrong to the fans who come out here and pay money to watch his failure. If he’s not the best quarterback, he’s not the best quarterback, and that’s not OK. But he’s a person, he's a moron and makes millions of dollars. So he got knocked out in a game, and we got 70,000 people cheering. Boo him all you want. (and we did) Boo me all you want.(and we will) Throw me under the bus. (thats too easy) Tell me I’m doing a bad job, (that's the truth) say I’ve got to protect him more (because you are his gay lover)… but if you’re one of those people who were out there cheering, or even smiled, when he got knocked out, I just want everyone to know it’s was the most appropriate thing you ever did!!!

“Don’t blame a guy ( we dont, we blame a team that sucks) and don’t cheer for a guy (when injured) who has done everything in his power to play as horrible as he can for the fans. It’s sickening!. (the fans agree) I want every fan to know it. (oh we do you have no idea!) We have a lot of problems as a society if people think that’s okay.” (You are an ass kissing pussy who knows your team sucks so bad that you resort to kissing ass to try to justify your teams failure!! keep kissing ass to one of the worst QB in NFL history!) BTW do your jobs assholes the people that support you only dream of the money you make and always do a better job at their job than you do...we actually EARN our money!!! earn yours!!!

  22. Will this change the 7.8 percent job report just reported? Maybe they could offer the 15 workers part time work with no benefits.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Given 22 million unemployed and underemployed Americans how does this even rate as a headline?

    ReplyDelete
  24. Jean was doing less with more. We won't notice the difference.

  25. 11:54 pm you probably don't know the difference between a Hux Bar and a Haligan Tool.

Man you sure beat your chest for a real fire fighter. Real fire fighters don't brag up dey own nass.

You must be one of Louie's pampered and overpaid mobsters.
