KCK Deadly Shooting Sunday Standoff
The level of violence on local streets and in KCK seems to be increasing. The latest example:
Police were in an hours-long standoff near 22nd Street and Garfield Avenue Sunday morning, as a person suspected of involvement in a deadly shooting holed up in a house there.

Previously, officials were bragging about a 15% drop in violent crime for KCK . . . Clearly, as the year comes to an close, there's an effort make up those numbers.
