For the record, we wholeheartedly agree with the mission of The Urban League of Greater Kansas City . . . By the way they have a nice new website that's worth checking out if only because it features photos of Gwen Grant in photos with just about every important African-American politico in the U.S. right now.

Seriously, WTF?!?!
Quick note: Any dance that it takes longer than 20 sec. to explain is never going to catch on . . . Also, there are just too many good puns and bad jokes to make at the expense of "The Urban League Slide" or whatever . . .
Civil Rights dancing is a hard thing to do correctly and the last person who got it right was probably James Brown . . . It's that difficult.

Other than shaking down corporations so that Gwen Grant can pay herself six figures and roam around the country celebrating herself, what exactly IS the mission of the Urban League? They certainly play no role whatever in trying to curb violence on the east side an work to enable residents to cooperate with the police.

The ability to make good livings by hanging onto the tired realities of the sixties and getting between folks who are asking to be empowered and help themselves and every dollar that may come their way is certainly not in short supply on the east side.
But these folks have turned it inot an art form.

ReplyDeleteI just dislike having to be rude about another female. Gwen is a woman, right? Thinking that she is, I am sorry to have to point out that she seems to be a disturbed female. She may be a female hysteric.
As far as anyone can see, Urban League in Kansas City is all about getting enough funds to pay out staff salaries. Plus they are back-up singers for rev Tindall.
Well, that's that. Time to take more photographs of our dying/dead vegetation.
