Kansas City Public School Transfer FAIL

Like it or not, more legal wrangling over the ongoing mass exodus from the KCPS . . .

A Jackson County judge on Wednesday ruled that part of the Kansas City Public Schools' policy on student transfers to other districts is illegal.

For the record . . . What we hear is that the NEXT Missouri House session should finally address the KCPS IF upcoming MAP Test scores don't improve. So, look for local education officials to tout every gain no matter how insignificant.

DEVELOPING . . .

  1. The legislature is as worthless as the KCPS. They can't even pass a bill that had NO OPPOSITION. No opposition, as in there was nobody who was going to vote against the KCPS takeover bill. The Union wasn't even against it. It was such a done deal that the candidates didn't even run for the school board. They had to do a write-in campaigns.
