SHOCKING KANSAS CITY DISPARITY!!! PROSECUTORS WILL NOT CHARGE SUBURBAN PARENTS WHO LEFT BABY TO DIE IN HOT SUV!!!

Here's a clear cut case of white privilege for the afternoon:

No charges will be filed in the case of a 13-month-old boy who died after being left inside a hot car in May, police said Wednesday.

No charges in baby's death left inside SUV

No charges in Lee's Summit baby's death

Even worse . . . Kansas City media is complicit in this bit of white privilege in action given that they're not releasing the name of the parents involved.

Perspective . . . Remember not so long ago Kansas City media put the names of an African-American family on blast after an accidental bath tub death where a baby was accused of murder.

I was thinking about going public with the names but honestly I want this blog to be cheeky and fun and this story just reminds me that justice and "journalism" have different standards for people of color and middle-class suburbanites earn so much privilege that dead kids don't matter . . .

Feel free to argue in favor of baby killing via neglect but clearly TKC can't support such a practice even in jest.

DEVELOPING . . .

Absolutely no sound reason for not charging these worthless assholes. I don't care if they're white, black or green. At least manslaughter should be charged!

Tony hates whitey.

A damn shame and a very rare instance for there to be no charges.

Probably no charges because the mom wasn't out buying drugs, selling herself or drunk.

T, I actually agree with you for one regarding race. (And I'm a white guy in my mom's basement as well, BTW.) It is a travesty that these parents aren't charged with at least a misdemeanor for their neglect. I'm sorry, but according to reports, the mom was a fucking teacher or in the education field! You cannot possibly be that stressed? (I used to be one as well.) Is it possible that the prosecution can appeal? Oh wait, what am I thinking? The entire fucking system is rigged.

So we allow a FEMALE teacher to fornicate with underage students in Kansas and now we deem leaving a child in a hot car as a "tragic accident". JUSTICE IS BIASED, PEOPLE! Wake the fuck up!

Oh, and Tony, have you researched "CAFR" yet? Seriously, stop writing about KC corruption until you research that.

And also, you mean to tell me not ONCE during the entire day that this "mom" didn't think once about her kid? Hello! MAP TESTING WAS OVER! It was practically the end of the school year! And she's responsible for an entire classroom of kids? Jesus Christ...

Oh, and here's the ringer: Her husband works in the district as well. This was a hush-hush case through and through. They had connections. And justice they didn't get...

To me the whole thing is crazy.

The mother has to be brain dead I mean come on I forget things but not to the point of leaving people strapped in a car.

The justice system is brain dead as well for not stepping up here and dealing with this matter.

The least they could have done was charge the mother with child abuse. Some sort of accountability for what happened needs to take place.

What would be the appropriate punishment that extended beyond the pain she felt for killing her own child? I'm not a judge or jury but I believe the sentence has been imposed.

Actually, I agree with 8:06...for to charge them actually distracts from their grief. Especially if they have to face the man's justice too, and they have other family responsibilities too.

Yes they should face man's justice too. Everyone else who commits a crime and gets caught does so regardless of how sorry or bad or grievious they feel.

She was neglegent. Sorry but I can not believe that she never calls the daycare or anything to check on the child. If she had even thought about it during the day she might have remembered the baby in the car. I wonder just when they left the baby in the car. That day or earlier.

I shouldn't of had that toke before I left.

Wow, what a bunch of insensitive assholes on this site. Glad you fuckers are all perfect, and have never made a mistake. I'm sure these parents have NO remorse due to there whiteness and "connections", right? Poor bastards lost a child and know that they were responsible for it, and you want to punish them more? Maybe you can do like Nancy Grace and push them into suicide.

Maybe her mind was on other things? Maybe she was in the middle of an all out orgy with her students? She was a High School teacher, right?

"Maybe her mind was on other things"??? How fucking stupid is that statement? Her negligence caused the DEATH of her child! Fuck you and your "mind on other things". What a fucking idiot!
