Owner shuts down Blabbermouthkc.com, citing huge backlash
I can't say that this is a big loss for Kansas City's online community but it was interesting that the short-lived site experienced instant online karma thanks to the mainstream backlash and basically EVERYBODY in this town thinking the idea was smarmy.
MEANWHILE TKC IS GETTING KINDA PISSED ABOUT A CERTAIN JACKSON COUNTY LOBBYIST SPECULATING ABOUT TKC GETTING PAID FOR THIS BLOG (I DON'T) . . . AND IT'LL MAKE HER INEVITABLE DEFEAT THAT MUCH SWEETER AS I PREPARE SNACK CAKES AND CHEAP BOOZE FOR THE CELEBRATION AND THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF HER POLITICAL HIGH HOPES!!!
Lesson learned . . . The Internet has killed most of my emotions and replaced it with a much keener insight into human nature . . . And cats playing piano.
