Kansas City Public Schools spin their wheels during the Summertime as well . . .
KC schools drop Covington's 'student-centered' reforms
Tinkering with grade levels proved to be a massive FAIL that was completely endorsed by some of the very same advocates promising that THIS TIME reforms will really make a difference.
Meanwhile . . . Kansas City politicos understand that that there will be YET ANOTHER KCPS fight for control next session . . . And community support for the beleaguered board and administrators remains at an all-time low.
Spin, spin, spin,….the bottom line is this idea failed….and the people that sold it to us were rip-off artists. They are responsible for the failure… many teachers said these were STUPID ideas and the plan would not work… they were SHAMED, MOCKED, ATTACKED, and even FIRED when they spoke up and said this idea was D.O.A.…..KCMO leaders, these high paid “expert” pretentious, leaders were irresponsible AND wrong…. Where are they now? Where are the apologies to the students, parents, teachers and taxpayers who JUST got cheated out of important years of their lives? Folks, when will we ever learn?
ReplyDeleteThe KC school board will do anything to protect their jobs. They act like this is all a surprise and they did not know it was coming, and they had no time to get ready. We have being having to listen to this falling for years, when is it going to hit bottom so the kids start winning
ReplyDeleteHow 'bout reading, writing and 'rithmatic and if you don't fucking do it your dead!!! I have never seen such a bunch of underacheiving pussy breeders in my freaking life.
ReplyDeleteIt was a good idea and would have paid off big-time in increased test scores and decreased drop-out rates.
