TKC EXCLUSIVE AND BREAKING NEWS!!! MORE PHOTOS FROM THE 1ST ANNUAL SHOW-ME FREEDOM FEST!!!

Liberty activists from across the state converged on the UMKC campus this weekend in a rather stunning display of alternative political thought in Kansas City.

The featured speaker for the day . . .

Adam Kokesh roused the crowd his talk about his experience in Iraq and citizen activism.

Check out the Adam vs. Man website for more background.

The latest adventures of Mr. Kokesh: Public Swearing Ban Cursed at Protest in Massachusetts Town

This is kind of funny given that Mr. Kokesh dropped quite a few F-bombs during his presentation and made a few of attendees shift in their chairs.

Still, he was a DEFINITELY A FAVORITE OF THIS KANSAS CITY CROWD and he was nice enough to take this pic while being hounded for autographs.

The event concluded with a Candidate Q&A with a round up of Independent and Libertarian candidates from across the State.

From right to left: Eapen Thampy has recently worked to reform marijuana laws in Missouri and has a few suprises up his sleeve in Kansas City proper. Meanwhile, Michal Boldin is a self-described "Tenther" who advocates for marijuana law reform and other liberty issues across the nation.

Kansas City Liberty Activist Tracy Ward organized the event with a lot of help from members of the Liberty Restoration Project and a few friends. We caught up with her again at the candidate forum with Kansas Liberty Activist and journalist Megan Westenhaver.

At the end of the day Ms. Ward and Freedom Fest Co-Organizer Vicky seemed pleased with the turnout and plans to continue and increase the current level of Independent and Libertarian involvement in local politics.

"This event was a great success," Tracy Ward said. "We had so many people helping us out and working to show Kansas City and all of Missouri that there is strong support and a great interest when it comes to increasing protecting our liberty."

I counted 25 people at that wrapup session, many being speakers.

Man the pink haired non-wonder looking a little rough in these pictures. Guess all this freedom crap really wears a person out and sucks the life from them.

"This event was a great success," Tracy Ward said.

Like her political career was?

In KCMO, if all the meetings of these little fringe groups actually accomplished ANYTHING, this would be the number one city in the country.
Endless meetings of a couple dozen "activists". What a joke!
Were the Occupy KC jokers there?

Tracy Wards hair is looking a little faded.....and her face. Looks like an Indy Avenue girl.

Anonymous said...

It looked like Tracy has lost some weight, but not too much -- which is good. I like 'em a little on the plump side. Saw her up close. She has the type of face that only Photoshop can help.

As for Adam -- I don't think he dropped the eff-bomb 74 times, but enough to disturb some people ... especially those who brought kids. Way to get them on your side, Adam.

It would be nice if more people who attend these types of events would apply some principles of basic hygiene before showing up.

Ward's two children are going to be so proud of her. Nice to know her scumbag husband has her back... glad he's not too busy trying to relive his hairband days to help his wife out.........

Hey Dave, what the fuck have you organized?

Let's take a look at your photos?

Show us your accomplishments before you take aim at somebody else.

I don't always agree with Tracy but she's braver than most people in KC. She stands up for what she believes in and she isn't afraid of dumbshits online.

Anonymous said...

Hey, UMKC, you and your kind are socialist cancers on the American taxpayer... but you sure do have meeting rooms. The public library is all booked up, so... can we come over to your place?

Thanks (and may you and your liberal ivory tower rot in hell),

Tracey Ward

I think 8:03 pretty well describes the protest crowd in this town.

Superdave said...

Hey LRZee
Way more than you and the pink haird wonder ever have.

And if you knew me you would know about my public doings. I just do things that make a difference and not going public with things that don't. I don't have to have all I do made public I don't have an ego to feed.

See there are those who do and then there are those who jabber a lot and don't do anything that makes a difference such as the Freedom freaks who meet get TV time and thats all they do.

I love these comments. When all you can insult about a person is their appearance, that just goes to show that that person must be doing something right! My question to the comment about "Kansas City would be a number one town" (or something along those lines) "if all these groups actually DID something" WHERE WERE YOU TODAY? What have any of you done to improve the city you live in and love so much? What a bunch of idiots you look like.

Loon-fest. Big suck-cess.

Where's the gulping goo guy?

Kokesh was fucking amazing. Tracy fucks.

I don't give a fuck about these haters who haven't done shit.

Travis Maddox said...

Nice to see the cowards sitting in their moms basement put their two cents in. Tracy Ward is a patriot and hero. You claim you have done so much. Sitting in your underware making comments on the Internet isn't really doing much, sorry to break it to you. Above you comments about a woman show you true colors and that you are obviously less than a man. You imply you have been involved in activisim. Do you even understand what freedom really is? I am a tolerant man but I quickly loose my civility when someone attacks my friends and family. Go suckle your flag some more. Enjoy your freedom.

Superdave said...

Just what the hell has Tracy done to make her a patriot and a hero you delusional fool?

You have no clue what a hero is.

That's a part of the overall problem today to many people have lost touch with reality.

Bitching about red light cameras won't save the world or the state for that matter. It sure does not make one a hero.

LRZee said...

Superdave you haven't done shit and you know it. You're a nobody that criticizes women's appearance but probably look like shit.

Deal with it.

Anonymous said...

Her complexion issues are probably the result of the bukkake activity. Semen is very acidic and when left on your face for too long can do damage which can result in dryness and scaring.

Anonymous said...

There you are!

Superdave said...

LRZee
Say what you want your words carry no weight.

Just what has Tracy done for KC? What is her biggest accomplishment for the good of KC?
How has Tracy solved or pushed to solve the current issues facing the KC taxpayers?

The answer to all those questions is simple;
Nothing
Nothing
Again she has done nothing.

But people as such yourself come on here and try to trash people who are making comments based on actual pictures or actual facts. Take ole Maddox on here who claims we are all people sitting in basements in underwear is such childish unsupported comments. But this is type of people who support people who in fact do nothing as the facts prove. As I said and another earlier said lots of talk and no action is what Tracy seems to be good at. Tracy at one time could have been someone to carry the torch for the good of the people till she started swinging so far to the left that too many started questioning her line of thinking and stopped supporting her. She at one time had my support but then she lost it and she has nobody to blame for that but herself. Look at Sly James he is doing the same thing to himself as well.

Chuck, Byron, The Anonymous Pervert, and occasionally RadiomanKC are like the cast members of TKC.

LRZee said...

Superdave, she educates voters. She held a conference today. Again I ask you what have you done?

What do you look like?

A bullshit artist i suppose.

Anonymous said...

The bukkake party kicjed ass. 15 guys in a row unloading their joy juice on Mrs Ward.

Anonymous said...

Yep, LRZee, Miss "Gubbermint Is Bad" held her conference at a government school.

How ironic.

Anonymous said...

@sarah israel
Actually I spent the day with a large group of folks working on the east side with folks who have some very real issues which affect them everyday, not talking with like-minded people in airconditioned comfort in a taxpayer-supported building.
It's fine to have meetings and talk about whatever you want, but NONE of the ideas that have been expressed by your group have anything other than the tiniest fringe support and are rejected by the vast majority of citizens of the country. Don't confuse endless talking with actually DOING something.

Anonymous said...

Some one give the details on Tracy's bukkake activity. Someone has the info about when it happened etc.

Yeah. THIS is who I want to be affiliated with.

Superdave said...

See thats the issue with Tracy Ward and her line of thinking. She jumps on to things without first seeing what the issue and the real facts are all about. She as well supports all the wrong people and wonders why people are starting to label or think of her as a radical.

I as well as many know this jerk Kokesh is bad news and a liar to boot. He is more phoney than the woman claiming to be T's wife.

Anne Onymous said...

... and the funny part is this. When Tony finally wakes up some time this afternoon, he'll review the comments here, see how he and Kokesh and Tracy Ward are getting ripped for their ignorance and phoniness, and how the people supporting them are getting buried by others who have exposed Tracy and Adam as frauds and "activists" who have contributed nothing to the betterment of Kansas City.

And what will Tony do? I guarantee you that within 15 minutes, he'll have a very long-winded "breaking news" item from one of his "tipsters," complete with a gratuitous chick picture or two, which will push this story so far down the front page that most people in our little microwave society won't take the time to scroll down a little bit and read it -- just like Tony usually does when things aren't going his way.

Your thoughts?

Superdave said...

@11:26
Well it's T's blog can do as he wants but then not sure I agree with you 100% either.

But do agree you gave a good break down of events that have happened so far.

Wow, some really intelligent folks on here....who choose to slander and verbally harass someone via cyberspace. I dare you to say those things in public to her face, especially at a freedom fest, you blithering idiot.

I can tell by the comments how much of an effect this 'annual freedom fest' had on people. Sounds a little overhyped to me.

Radicals think 5 people in front of a bank is a successs!

Anonymous said...

Superdave has the right to criticize Tracy and she has the right to have her conferences. I'm glad that it was reported on. that's the problem with so much of our media today. If they don't agree with something they'll ignore it.

Anonymous said...

That's the unvarnished truth, for sure.

Adam Kokesh had great time banging local freedom whore Toni Bones there. He said he be back soon.

Miss Bones got 3 kids under 5 by 2 different daddies. She is looking for more $$$ by having another kid, so if you are freedom celebrity she will spread legs for u!!! Ask her for the Kokesh special!!!!

Cowards in the comments have done nothing in real life. I respect Super Dave for at least signing with a profile. The rest of you are just like roaches.

Anonymous said...

Ya have to be careful about signing... certain people unknown to YOU will come after you to screw you over, tell tales about you if they don't like what you write. You hear about it months later.

TKC quotes virtually no one by name and that's where all the good stuff comes from thats not in the comments.

I used to agree with you, Tim, but I've learned that anonymity is the best way to fearlessly get your point across without retribution in this room.

Look whats happened to Byron... I'd rather read what he has to say than read the REAL ROACHES who then invariably attack him from their own anonymity.

Not endless talking on my part. In order to make a lasting change that affects future generations for a better, safer KC, some of us must lobby our lawmakers, petition for change, and spend time writing language for bills that will benefit the society around us. Simultaneously, on-the spot treatment is necessary, as you apparently spent your time doing today. I am most grateful for that. What confuses me is that ultimately, we all want the same thing here. Less violence, less government taking away from our families, our rights, and a better community. Why such hateful comments? Not one person on this thread seems interested in anything more than insulting the convention. Sad, really.

Superdave said...

No Sarah whats sad is that the convention brought to KC Adam Kokesh.

He would be one of the last people I would bring to KC to promote a cause of any kind unless that cause would be fraud and disrespectful behavior. Thats why nobody will take things like the Show Me Freedom convention seriously when people such as Adam are a part of it.

I dislike many things in our goverment and do work in suporting change in our goverment. But I as an American would never stand and hold our national flag upside down in complete disrespect to our nation. The problems of our nation was created by yours and mines families in the past and will take a lot of work to fix in the years to come. Idiot actions and disrespecting the foundation of our country is not the way to bring about change.

So you see Sarah what is sad is how people waste their time with those who will never help our country only hurt it. Before one or a group can be taken seriously they must first show they have the maturity to act responsible, present themselves in a mature and professional manner and show people that what they have to offer is a well thought out plan for dealing with the issues at hand. Clown shows with vulgar speaking people who show blantant disrespect towards things that many people still have a lot of respect for will never find any support in the real world or this country.

The red light camera issue for one is a good point to look at. While it to some people is a action they believe to be against ones rights it is such a small issue in the over all problems facing people today that way to much effort and time is wasted on it for the results that will come from it. I mean if the cameras are tuned off tomorrow just how much better a place will the world be to live in? None is the answer to that, not one thing at all will be improved other than the red light running law breakers will have an easier go at it.

It's a story of it's own to try and explain what is really wrong with this country and this so called convention for a few people who attended and want to think is the answer to things and is going to open all these unseen doors for solutions isn't going to happen.

Maybe some day I will go more public but for now I stay in the back ground looking for the right movement in which I can see is really worth jumping into with sizeable checks of money and my hard work in making things happen. Till then I just stay where I am and shoot down the movements that are a waste of media space and clog up the chances of real change happening.
