TKC TIPSTERS TOLD YOU SO!!! CITY MANAGER TROY SCHULTE HOUSE CLEANING LEADS TO SEARCH FOR NEW CITY CLERK!!!

KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS were the FIRST to bring news of City Hall house cleaning undertaken by City Manager Troy Schulte.

Now . . .

TURNS OUT TKC TIPSTERS WERE COMPLETELY RIGHT ABOUT CITY MANAGER TROY SCHULTE'S HOUSE CLEANING THAT HAS NOW SPARKED THE SEARCH FOR A NEW CITY CLERK!!!

While this ad has run for about a week in community papers and the search for a City Clerk is even listed on the City's website . . . Mainstream media hasn't really reported it. That's unfortunate because the City Clerk's Office is basically responsible for running most of this town's official interaction with elected officials. In KCMO, city clerk is a job that's at the epicenter of our local government. So, expect a great deal of politics in the selection process.

Even better . . .

THE SEARCH FOR A NEW CITY CLERK ALSO CONFIRMS TROY SCHULTE'S HOUSE CLEANING IS STILL IN FULL SWING!!!

There have been a few bumps along the road and there are sure to be more lawsuits against City Hall . . . But it seems that nowadays Troy Schulte is beguiled by the same strong Northland (read: white) special interests that have also captivated the Mayor's Office and threaten to hijack the Council IF IT WASN'T FOR THE LUCKY CIRCUMSTANCE that The Northland Contingent of The City Council completely lacks any semblance of charisma. Still, kudos to Schulte for keeping his job relatively safe and avoiding a scapegoat role as The Mayor and City Council become more embattled and unpopular every day.

DEVELOPING . . .

  2. Good!!! That lady was hard to deal with. Maybe it was pressures from the job but this change has to be positive.

  3. If everyone emplyed by KCMO city government that was either incompetent or hard to get along with or both were fired, most of the 29 floors at 12th and Oak would be empty.
It's way past time for some supervision, management by walking around, training, and ACCOUNTABILITY.
The taxpayers spend many millions of dollars on salaries and benefits for city employees and deserve some decent services and to be treated as the customers that they are. These positioins aren't hobbies or volunteer opportunities; they're JOBS. And there need to be performance standards just like with any other job.
Some folks who work for the city do really great work, but they're entirely self-motivated and may very well work right next to someone who is mediocre at best, and the organization treats them exactly the same.
Time to reward working hard and achievement and clean house of the duds. If the organization has some pride in itself, you'll find plenty of applicants in the economy who will happily sign on.

  5. I think Schulte is doing a pretty damn fine job considering what he has to work with. There are still plenty of people that "work" for this city need to be cleared out.

Like it or not, our economic tax base and infrastructure suck. Schulte is slashing budgets, eliminating unnecessary positions, and replacing incompetence or unwillingness with efficiency. Keep it up I say.

  6. Riley has been telling people that he is happy with his gig being paid to steal KC's water in order to sell it back the morons us at a profit. In addition, he mentions that Mike Sanders has agreed to make Riley the chair of the Democrat party in Jackson County begining this fall. Several of us found that hard to believe when he first mentioned it but Terry swears it is true. He could not make that kind of money or serve as Democrat County Chair if he had a job with the city. Terry is smart. He would rather be a rich and influential man than a bureaucrat with bills to pay.

  7. What about your favorite former Councilwoman?

  8. Replacing the City Clerk? Who cares, other than the incumbent who is drawing more pay than the job is worth?

All inside baseball. Get rid of the cozy bureaucrats sucking off the tit of the local taxpayers. Cut the salary by half. PLenty of people will apply....grifters, not so many.

  9. Our favorite former councilwoman is busy bitching at her doctor/consort. Under the Jewish tradition, when you are a doctor's wife you do not work outside the home and you do as little as possible there.

  13. Vickie has been with the city for year. She's newly married and is retiring to spend time with her family. She wasn't forced out at all. Troy had zip to do with this.

  14. What about all the aast. To the asst.'s. Troy has about 10 asst. Where they going go?

  15. You are stupid Tony. the Clerk, Auditor and City Manager are the ONLY three employees that the Council collectively hires. Troy Schulte has zero say on who the City Clerk is.

By posting this, you show your total ignorance.

    ReplyDelete
  16. City Manager forced out the clerk.

That's a fact and everybody knows it.

It's nice to see Schulte's goons on the blog today. And keep digging about Troy's new hires Tony, they're almost all white. The guy is just begging for another lawsuit.

  17. Here's a fun fact -

Troy Schulte has cost KC more money in lawsuits than Gloria Squitiro.

Time for Troy and all of his cronies to go back north of the river.

  19. That would be nice. But the staff just looks like Sly's campaign donor list.

    Look closer Tony, look closer.

  20. Vicki is retiring after over 30 years of service. She is eligible for her full pension. No one forced her out.

  21. Vicki did a great job as City Clerk. She talked to me a long time ago about her plans to retire. She was not forced out and is highly respected at City Hall.

  22. bullshit. bullshit. bullshit.

Please take the Internet out of the City Manager's office.

  23. Someone on here needs to check the charter. The City Clerk position is APPOINTED by the Council. While Tony would love to make this one the fault of the City Manager he loses this time. Find things that he is at fault for - crazy % increases for his favs, promotions for his buds and a restruture that makes one scratch their head.

  24. The former clerk came back from Cal. a few weeks ago and this is all a scam to get her the job back. Mark my words, Millie Crossland will be the "new" clerk.
