SHARIA LAW BILL
"I just read the article about the Kansas House voting the Sharia law bill into law from a Kansas periodical.
"This article may give you a better picture on a couple of controversial resolutions that passed the legislature yesterday . . . "Day 90: Legislature attacks Sharia law, United Nations Agenda 21, but no resolution on budget, redistricting"
"The article quoted that it passed the house 120 to 0; there were quite a few of us who voted against the measure.
"We felt that even bringing it up was a complete joke and voice our opposition in caucus and on the floor. I voted against it, we called it the black helicopter resolution, as did quite a few of our educated house members.
"I was surprised that we had one of our Wyandotte County delegation vote for the measure. I am insulted that this periodical did not reflect the full picture on this issue and that it made all the house members look like illiterate hayseeds."
