TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! SUMMER DANGER: CHINESE SKY "WISH" LANTERNS THREATEN KANSAS CITY!!!

So many people in Kansas City claim that the heat leads to more violent crime but TOP LEVEL TKC TIPSTERS tells about another flaming hot threat to local homes and businesses that starts out with the best of intentions.

Add this to our litany of complaints regarding the coming era of Chinese Hegemony.

Check it:

CHINESE SKY LANTERNS OR "WISH LANTERNS" ARE NOW BEING LAUNCHED OVER KANSAS CITY IN MORE THAN A FEW LOCAL CEREMONIES AND THEY POSE A CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER TO LOCAL HOMES AND BUSINESSES!!!

Here's how they're supposed to work according to the world's most accurate encyclopedia . . .

"Sky lanterns, also known as Kongming Lantern or Chinese lanterns are airborne paper lanterns that are best known as a tradition found in some Asian cultures. They are constructed from oiled rice paper on a bamboo frame, and contain a small candle or fuel cell composed of a waxy flammable material. When lit, the flame heats the air inside the lantern, thus lowering its density causing the lantern to rise into the air. The sky lantern is only airborne for as long as the flame stays alight, after which the lantern sinks back to the ground."

Real talk . . .

BASICALLY THIS IS AN OPEN FLAME FLOATING AROUND UNMONITORED ON KANSAS CITY SKIES!!!

Recently, TOP LEVEL AND UPPER-ECHELON TKC TIPSTERS have told us about seeing these lanterns launched . . .

TKC HAS BEEN TOLD OF AT LEAST A COUPLE OF EVENTS WHERE ORGANIZERS PLAN TO LAUNCH CHINESE SKY LANTERNS IN ORDER FOR PARTICIPANTS TO FEEL ALL WARM AND CUDDLY INSIDE WITHOUT ANY THOUGHT OF A LOCAL HOUSE OR BIZ THAT MIGHT BURN DOWN AS A CONSEQUENCE!!!

One of these events is a Mexican deal so I'm not going to divulge details because I don't want anybody deported over paper products.

Still . . .

Municipalities all over the world are starting to hate folks who make a wish on these dangerous lanterns . . .

Spain bans sky lanterns

UK Telegraph: Latest fire caused by Chinese sky lanterns increases calls for a ban

Boston.com: The state’s top fire official is exploring whether the use of popular floating paper luminaries falls under a Massachusetts law banning fireworks and, if it doesn’t, whether it should.

For the record, I've heard that Chinese farmer also hate these lanterns because they've been responsible for more than a few crop fires.

Obviously, sky lanterns are easily available online . . .

Given this threat to Kansas City . . . Council Dude Scott Wagner is doing his best to make a name for himself by pretending to build a public safety record . . .So I figure he might as well take TKC Marching Orders for a change.

To wit . . .

TKC IS CALLING FOR LOCAL POLITICOS TO LOOK INTO OUR THE THREAT THAT KANSAS CITY FACES FROM CHINESE SKY LANTERNS AND MAYBE DO SOMETHING THAT PROTECTS NEIGHBORHOOD FOR A CHANGE!!!

This could already be covered under the Kansas City Fireworks ban that EVERYBODY IGNORES . . .

Nevertheless, THE VERY BEST TKC TIPSTERS wanted to warn Kansas City of the Chinese threat from above that might already be moving toward our neighborhoods. Natch.

DEVELOPING . . .

  2. I'm confused, the Mexican illegal immigrants are launching flaming Chinese lanterns to burn down our town and TKC wants what is likely a German guy to do something about it as long as he doesn't deport them!

  3. I've seen these released on the coast without too much of a problem.

    Nice Katie Horner impression TKC.

  4. I saw one of these in the sky 2 years ago on the fourth of July. For what it's worth, it's the only time I've ever wondered if I was seeing a UFO. If they're being used more often that might explain the recent UFO sighting increases.

  5. Good point. The sky is really weird tonight too. Luckily no gunfire to speak of right now.

  6. Maybe Scott Wagner will propose a curfew for all chinese sky lanters in public.

I agree!! These chinese lanterns are potentially a serious threat!
Now the DHS drones, on the other hand, are only patrolling the skies for our protection.....to protect the "motherland" and preserve freedom.

  10. I witnessed a large group of people releasing about six of these lanterns on Memorial Day. It was very windy that night and two of them almost his the roof of a house. It's the most irresponsible thing I've ever seen. Those lanterns make fireworks look safe. It looks like they're getting popular around here.

  11. Hey looks like fun target practice to me. Hit one just right it might explode.

  12. KCTV Live and Investigative needs to see if Local 42 is behind this Chinese Lantern controversy. I bet they are in a ploy to keep the firemen from being laid off. You just never can tell about these socialist union people.

  13. 10:02, how can you make 8 times as much as a firefighter while working at Hobby Lobby stocking shelves with wicker baskets? Dream on you fuck tard and yes you are jealous because you couldn't pass the fitness test to get the job you fat bastard. To the other dipshit, not one fireman is being laid off. So, you better throw another penny in the wishing well because the first wish didn't come true. Get a life you wanna be firemen!
