KANSAS CITY MURDER AND THEN SILENCE!!!

Here is a tragedy that defines life in Kansas City for tonight . . .

Marcus Heilderberg, 22, was killed in front of dozens of people, but police say no one will identify the shooter.

What makes this even more horrific is that there are reports that the young man killed was trying to break up a fight.

This wicked little town loves to promote every insignificant success or silly new project but there's really no way to spin this tragedy that's so often repeated. Most of this town's political leadership is silent on the subject of Kansas City Homicide and the public seems to be following their example.

    1. Find something useful to do with your life. This young man was an innocent person trying to do the right thing and lost his life behind it. It's bitches like you that deserves to die and people like me who will shit in your mouth while you lie there dying.

  2. Can't these 'witnesses' be charged with obstructing justice?

  3. Not in KC, and certainly not in Jackson County.

  4. there must have been 2 dozen eye witnesses.

  5. Well Byron as always you don't know the law like you think you do. Before you can charge them with obstruction you have to be able to prove without a doubt they know something.

So do you spend manpower solving a murder or trying to prove obstruction?

  6. It's been ingrained since childhood not to snitch and to avoid cooperation with the police. Do do either would whittle down thug appeal.

When you never let the man into your life...

  7. Heilderberg ?....yup, that sounds like a dark brother from the East side. No snitchin' once again! It must be "their" ingrained culture.

  8. This isn't news. Go outside.

  9. Dave, I don't pretend to know the law, that's why my comment is in the form of a question. It just seems that some way through this impasse should be found.

It is obstruction, in fact, if not in law. Its like they are getting away with a crime. It should be unacceptable.

  10. Well then Bryon you just haul your ass on over here and do a citizens arrest of all these people and see what happens.

  11. Here dipshit;
However, in most common law jurisdictions, the right to remain silent allows any person questioned by police merely to refuse to answer questions posed by an investigator without giving any reason for doing so.

  12. We have to do better. There is no reason stop snitching still holds influence in KC.

  14. at 12:13 I agree

I as well do wonder why if in fact someone knows something they are not coming forth or even hell writing a unsigned note.

And maybe they are just plain and simply afraid to say anything for fear of payback. But in the end if they won't talk how can anyone catch the one or group of killers of a killing.

  15. Stick a fork in the Power and Light district...its as dead as this poor guy who was shot tonight. Nobody with money and a job wants to be around this shit.

  16. A conspiracy of silence is a conspiracy. In this case, isn't it a conspiracy to commit murder? Aren't they accessories?

Its amazing how this is just accepted. Instead of finding reasons why you can't solve the murder, solve the murder.

    What's with the fucking 'dipshit'.
Now, that you are here no one else needs to bother to comment?

    ReplyDelete
  17. No Bryon they are not accessories to murder if they don't talk. You cannot prove within a reasonable doubt that people who you claim as witness did in fact see something. Are you saying that the police should now arrest potential witnesses because they aren't saying anything? That would go over like a turd in a punch bowl. Police/community relations is key. You aren't solving anything by turning witnesses into suspects. Then again I guess you could join the KCPD and change how things are done cowboy.

  18. There are lots of reasons witnesses at a crime scene on the east side don't sooperate with the police: Some folks are afraid of reprisal and have every reason to be. There is virtually no relationship or trust between the black community and the police and little effort to build any. Town hall meetings and various "programs" are far too short-term and superficial to build any meaningful relationships. And a fair number of people at the scene may very well have legal issues or their own and aren't going to throw themselves into a system that they're trying to avoid.
The culture is literally killing people and certainly isn't going to change on its own.
So who in the black community is going to show the way?

    ReplyDelete
  19. It's simple DO YOUR OWN TIME! There is NO faith in the criminal justice system. Bond out, long delays in going to trial, short sentances, doing a small percent of the sentance before release. Yeah sure, ask yourself if you were facing certain RETRIBUANCE from the gangsters, would you step up?

    ReplyDelete
  20. Look, the black folks on the east side got to get over this distrust thing. This distrust thing has ruined the city. Shit, there aren't really a lot of white folks living in the the city anymore, except in a few pockets. Quit turning the rest of the city into your hood. Why don't you all spend more time transforming the hood into the city? Look, we got a BLACK mayor, BLACK police chief, BLACK superintendent of schools, BLACK congressman and a BLACK president. Give me a break that black people have a hard time with trust. BLACK folks are in charge of the city. BLACK folks need to fix it.

  21. I know!!!! he was shot by a nigger!!!! arrest any one of them they all commit crimes anyway.

  22. Black on Black where is the outrage in the community...where is Gwen and the gang when this happens....oh, must just be a cultural hiccup!!!

    ReplyDelete
  23. Completely spot on right

  24. If a culture refuses to cooperate in order to help themselves...why should the police, or anyone else feel obligated to?

  25. Who the fuck trusts a cop in Kansas City?

  26. You don't have to trust cops. There is this thing called the Tips Hotline where no one will know who "snitched".

    ReplyDelete
  27. Hell, let 'em stay silent. If they don't catch the killer, maybe he'll get another NIGGER or two before they do.

    ReplyDelete
  28. ya think a Grand Jury and we they don't point the Finger, contempt of Court until they learn that snitchin is better than prison..
