TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY MIDTOWN DENIZENS NOTE A RECENT SPIKE IN CAR BREAK-INS!!!

Patrons of Midtown bars have put the topic of recent car break-ins on blast.

BASHED IN CAR WINDOWS HAVE INCREASINGLY PLAGUED MIDTOWN BARS ACCORDING TO PATRONS AND A FEW OWNERS!!!

What's always disheartening about these break-ins is that very few valuables are taken and the cost of the windows is always exorbitant thanks to increasingly brazen Midtown crooks.

  1. While it might be tempting to blame the cops, I think a certain amount of the blame lies with the "victims." I live and work in Midtown and I've seen this happen a hundred times. Usually it involves a victim who has left something in plain view of anyone walking by their car. So, how many of these "patrons of Midtown bars" left purses, laptops, ipods, cell phones, wallets or cash in their cars for anyone walking by to see? I wouldn't go so far as to suggest that these "victims" deserve to have their stuff stolen, but I hardly think they should blame the cops either. We all have to have common sense enough to avoid making it easy for the criminals to victimize us!

  2. Of course not. Don't blame the fucking niggers that commit this crime. Heavens no, it HAS to be some other reason. How about a bounty on their ass?

  3. As long as these cars don't belong to out-of-town visitors or tourists, who cares?
Wait until the All Star Game, when all the cops are out running interference for the MLB swells.
Haven't residents figured out yet that KCMO isn't run for your benefit?

  4. KC cops dont respond to car breakins. They will tell victims to "walk it in" at their local police station for their insurance.
If the police dont care, why should the criminals? Welcome to KC. The solution? Move elsewhere, where the police will respond when you have a break in.

  5. I disagree.

Recently, there were two car break-ins in my neighborhood. The cops came down, took reports, and got video surveillance images from a local business to help pursue the suspects. To now KCPD has been quite responsive.

On the other hand, part of being a grown up is to recognize that there are bad people in this world (both "niggers" and otherwise), and to use some judgment and discretion when it comes to making choices or engaging in behavior that puts your person or property at risk..

Like I tell my kids, if you want to keep your toys you better put them away. My 5 year old knows this. Some adults need to learn it a well.

And quite frankly, while I don't wish it on anyone, I'm fed up with people who leave their shit out, get it stolen and then complain about crime. Dumbasses! There's plenty of "responsibility" to go around.

  6. Well put, well put. If you leave ANYTHING that has value in your car from the Missouri River to Brookside it will disappear. As far as the cops not responding, they will if there is evidence, but if no evidence is there it's pointless to waste the manpower. Lets face it, this is at least 50% the victims fault and the police have better things to do then babysit a victim with thier head up their own ass.

  7. I am with 9:49 and 10:53 on this. I work close to the P&L district and we have had a few break ins because people leave expensive stuff in their cars. KCPD has been very good handling these incidences and every once in a while a patrolman will park for a while in our lot.

  8. Isn't it a poor testimony to our society when we have to hide anything of value, to keep the niggers from stealing it? Why not just hide the niggers, permanently?
