Lesson In Leaving: First 50 Families Attempt Escape From Kansas City Public Schools

KMBC reports parents and students voting with their feet instead of waiting for the grand plans of politicos: "The unaccredited Kansas City, Mo., School District tells a Jackson County judge Thursday that about 50 students have asked to leave the district because of its academic problems."

  1. Hope they don't get blocked. People can't escape from the hell that is Kansas City. Nothing works correctly: not the government, not the schools, not the lazy City workers... nothing. This town is filled with lazy good for nothings who are seeking a political handout. I'm sick of it!
