Maybe Last Night's Lee's Summit UFO

Fireworks weren't the only strange thing in the sky last night . . . Check this message:

"Spotted this around 10 PM last night near Lee's Scummit. You should post this and see if anyone else has footage of this alleged UFO. From my sighting, it was much lower in this video."

Check the video, there's a debate as to whether it's a firework, a Chinese lantern or just a crappy camera . . . TKC Reminder: I don't think tinfoil hats are flammable.

  1. I saw exactly the same thing in rural Iowa over the weekend. Nobody was around. It was the middle of farm land. What I saw was like a flashing fireball moving slowly and silently above the trees for about a minute. Very bizarre. It was not a plane, and not fire works.

  9. It's a Chinese lantern. I saw several of them last night and got some good pictures. Basically a paper bag with a candle hanging under it.

  11. The video you took was of a sky lantern which was shapped in a BIG RED HEART in memory of my daughter KAYLA PASQUARELLI (R.I.P.) she was killed July 3, 2010 by a drunk driver.

  12. I saw the same thing 6 different times in Raytown. It was traveling east to west and traveled along the same path 4 times and 2 other times it was further south but still traveling east to west. Right after seeing it for the 3rd or 4th time we saw AirForce planes (F16's maybe?) traveling in the same area. Pretty friggin weird and I don't believe in much of the UFO thing...but I know what I saw wasn't any chinese lantern or fireworks..pretty weird
