TKC BREAKING AND EXCLUSIVE NEWS!!! LOCAL LAWYERS PREPARE TO PRESENT A CASE AGAINST BISHOP FINN AND THE KANSAS CITY AREA CATHOLIC HIERARCHY!!!

The news in the KANSAS CITY AREA CATHOLIC PRIEST CHILD PORN SCANDAL is coming in fast and furious . . .

Check it:

KICK-ASS TKC TIPSTERS ARE TELLING US ABOUT A MOVE AMONG LOCAL LAWYERS TO PRESENT A CASE OF CHILD ENDANGERMENT AND OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE AGAINST BISHOP FINN AND THE KANSAS CITY AREA CATHOLIC HIERARCHY FOR THEIR PART IN AN ALLEGED CHILD PORN SCANDAL!!!

There might even be an "aiding and abetting" or even "conspiracy" charge thrown in there for good measure over this alleged child porn scandal.

One of the most trusted TKC TIPSTERS makes it plain for us:

"Take the collars off these guys and you've got a group of people who knew about the possibility of a crime being committed AGAINST CHILDREN and then sat back and did NOTHING," the source said.

"Why should they be treated differently than any other organization? They're just like executives of any other big company or members of any other mob who have conspired to hide a crime."

So what we hear is that these lawyers are getting together and plan to present a case they've compiled against Bishop Finn and all of the priests who helped cover up this alleged instance of child porn and possible sex abuse AND THEN HAND IT OVER TO A LOCAL PROSECUTOR!!!

Jean Peters-Baker is only two weeks into her term so it's unlikely they'll take anything her way. However, the alleged crime and possible cover-up charges happened in Clay County which would put the case in Prosecutor Dan White's lap.

It gets worse . . .

If these lawyers are getting together to talk about an alleged criminal conspiracy then there's also a very big chance that we're talking costly civil damages as well.

In that regard, either during or after a criminal prosecution there's a chance that charges that range from "reckless endangerment" to "negligent entrustment" could surface in a case that could be worth MILLIONS if/when a civil-action suit is filed.

To top it all off . . . In the discussion of child porn charges against Fr. Ratigan there is talk that he was moved around. If he was moved around across State Lines . . . That means that lawyers who are SERIOUSLY PISSED could push for RICO charges as well.

There's growing talk now that Bishop Finn might have to resign. Meanwhile, the public is learning more about what local Catholic officials know, what they say they didn't know and what they other claim they told them as this controversy had unfolded over the course of a year.

DEVELOPING . . .

  1. They should go after the churchs lawyers just as guilty

  4. Will these charges also include the Bishop's legal counsel from Lathrop and Gage? He was being advised every step of the way by the high power lawyers at Lathrop and Gage. So if there are going to be chareges brought against him, shouldn't those charges also include the d-bag attorney who advised him to withhold the information??? Word on the street is that law firm refused to turn over the evidence until they were told a KCPD SWAT unit was preparing to serve a search warrant on their building.

  7. 9:58 PM is right!

I have no doubt that there are a LOT of people involved with the Diocese who are feed up with that mean-spirited abusive jerk of a a Bishop.

    Finn = Fini

  8. I just read the article in the star and am sick to my stomach. I am Catholic and am happy to be one but this still makes me sick. I absolutely do not understand why Finn has a board of area Catholics to advise him on what to do inthese instances. They are not above he law! If someone hears of something like this, you turn to the authorities. End of story. And the way I heard it, a few years back, that WAS the plan that was given to Finn from his board so I do not understand why either he or they wavered.

According to our custom and law, aman is innocent until proven guilty but in this case it sounds like it's an open and shut case. Shame on Ratigan, shame on Finn and the vicar. I pray for the reform and especially for all the young children involved.

  9. Hypocrisy = if Ratigan has abused children and/or broken laws then he should be held accountable like anyone else....case closed. That aside, it's hypocritical for a blogger like TKC who doesn't "follow the rules"...e.g., posts unsubstantiated rumors, promotes racist viewpoints, professes his love of porn, promotes misogyny, denigrates most print media, all the while obfuscating his own personal foibles so as to not let readers know his true identity.

  12. Oh, really. Such a fuss over a simple rite. Welcome to the world kids, here's what you're going to face.
A good butt-fucking and you do need to learn how to slurp dick without getting too stained.

Why is this a crime? It's vo-tech education...

  13. Finn kept this from police, parishioners, and the public for over a year. That is totally against everything the church officials try to make us believe about how they care about protecting kids.

The most mind boggling part of this tragedy is that their own diocesan "Children's Safety Curriculum and Training" (which the bishops set up to look like they care about the safety of children), was actually trying to work. Those employees who go through this training process, that is forced upon them by the bishops, were doing their job.

BUT.. Bishop Finn flat out ignored his own policy and procedures.

The Kansas City diocese needs to have a Grand Jury Investigation, just like the recent grand jury investigation done in Philadelphia.. which resulted in the arrest of 3 predator priests, 1 teacher, and 1 high ranking priest for "Child Endangerment" ( covering up sex crimes against children )..This is the only way to expose the truth and therefore protect kids.

The Philly diocese is NOT unique in the horrible way they handle child sex abuse.

If you have been harmed by Ratigan or any clergy, employee, volunteer, etc, do not report it to the diocese, it is a crime, so we urge you to please report it to the police.

..And keep in mind you are not alone..

    Fuck off.

  15. Do not worry Bishop, I will fix everything.

  16. Young tasty meat is worth it. I'd even pay double!!!

  17. I've always wondered why the FBI has never gone "RICO" on the church.

Probably way too many Catholics in the FBI for that to work.

    ReplyDelete
  18. So what you all are saying is that "probable cause" should not be a factor. If someone is accused, you want to police to arrest a person based on that accusation? Is that true? Did anything in the letter rise to probable cause?

  19. anyone within the diocese with an ounce of dignity needs to come clean on this debacle. Do the right thing.
