LATINOS STAY WINNING IN KANSAS!!!

A bit of nice news to start the day . . . Kansas rejects Arizona-style hate law:

Kansas House committee bottles up anti-immigration bill

Sadly, immigration wins are tainted by disgustingly intolerant talk by Kansas politicos:

Kansas legislator suggests using hunters in helicopters to control illegal immigration, likens immigrants to feral hogs

Kansas GOP Rep. Virgil Peck says he was just joking and thinks doesn't expect any more hassle about his hate speech but his comments are a perfect example of the disgustingly hateful rhetoric against the undocumented and just a glimpse into why similarly like-minded reactionaries are doomed to failure.

  1. "I was just joking" is the lame excuse used by bigoted when they cross the line.

    That was no joke.

So to excuse this disgusting comment, he makes all Southeast Kansans out to be xenophobic racists.

    No apology, no nothing.

This is the kind of piece of crap that needs to be run out of the statehouse.

  3. You don't have to apologize when your hilarious personal politics have the backing of military assault choppers.

  4. The measure under consideration when the comment was made had nothing to do with controlling illegal immigration- it was about controlling feral swine.

That's what prompted Rep. Peck to make his "joke".
