74th and broadway isnt midtown so the title is wrong.. Then again this is what you get when people have a "fuck em let em kill each other east of troost" attitude. Troost is only a mile or so up 75th from Wornall / Waldo. When there isnt any money in killing each other, the thugs come where the money is.
ReplyDeleteA lot is missing from the story... And this wasn't money-motivated since his cash wasn't taken (Preliminary reports). Not that anyone deserves such treat, but how innocent is the "victim"...
ReplyDeleteWell, I wouldn't make any harsh judgements against the victim just yet. It could have been that he wouldn't open his door up, give up his ride, basically cooperate so one of the young bucks got riled and started "bustin shots"? It also could have been a personal issues? It seems that the facts in this case will probably come out and pretty soon. The police will know shortly if the victim has any dirt or not. If not, it was probably an attempted car jacking gone wrong. If so, too bad the guy wasn't packing or just willing to run down those fools with his car. I say screw waiting around arguing with brain dead thugs who are gonna rob and maybe kill ya. He should have ran those fucker's over! As long as the victim is a regular joe (no dope beef's etc) that he recovers god speed. Maybe even if he wasn't an angel but my gut tells me it was probably random. Lesson learned, you get somebody trying to block you in, etc run them the fuck over!
