TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! CONSTITUENTS CLAIM RON SCHIEBER DOESN'T SHOW UP FOR A LOT OF MEETINGS!!!

This just in from a KICKASS TKC TIPSTER:

Things are heating up in the 32nd District - Jason Grill v. Ron Schieber.

Ron is running the typical Republican playbook against Jason - putting Grill and Obama pics side by side in mass mailers. Ron is ALSO using some unsavory/dirty push pulling phone tactics (i.e. using callers to pose as legitimate election pollster - then asking questions slanted extremely negatively toward Jason, even including false information).

Check the following information . . .

1. Ron Schieber wants a promotion to Jefferson City, but he barely did the job he was elected to on the Park Hill School Board. On his website, it says that Ron wants to "Increase Student Achievement." But check the board meeting minutes and notice that he just wasn't there a lot.

However, January 2009 to early 2010, Ron failed students in his District with his poor showing on the School Board.

SCHIEBER MISSED 17 VOTES OVER 5 SEPARATE MEETINGS!!!

Those missed meetings included important education issues for Park Hill.

He was NOT PRESENT for the following votes as a member of the Park Hill School Board:

* February 4, 2010 meeting (no votes were cast, but the Board discussed important topics including: Fiscal Year 2011 Budget Assumptions and rolling back a levy rate; initiation of a 2011 capital bond issue; [Board Meeting Minutes, 2/4/10;

* October 8, 2009 meeting Schieber missed discussion about the 2010-2011 school year calendar and Limited English Proficient programming at Park Hill) [Board Meeting Minutes, 10/8/09]

* Approval of the 2009 Summer School Program, which had 1,700 students enrolled
[Board Meeting Minutes, 5/28/09]

* APPROVAL OF CODE OF CONDUCT FOR PARK HILL SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION [Board Meeting Minutes, 5/28/09]

* APPROVAL OF $20,679 PARK HILL DAY SCHOOL PLAYGROUND BID to Fry and Associates [Board Meeting Minutes, 5/28/09]

* APPROVAL OF Purchase of $75,750 BACK-UP SOFTWARE AND HARDWARE EMC Avamar from Alexander Open Systems [Board Meeting Minutes, 5/28/09]

* May 28, 2009 meeting (aside from the vote above, Schieber missed discussion of the PRELIMINARY REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE BUDGETS FOR FY 2010) [Board Meeting Minutes, 5/28/09]

* January 28, 2009 meeting, which included a presentation on the AdvancED Oral Exit Report [Board Meeting Minutes, 1/28/09]

* Approval of 2009-2010 Academic Calendar [Board Meeting Minutes, 1/22/09]

* Math Curriculum and Textbook Adoption [Board Meeting Minutes, 1/22/09]

* January 22, 2009 meeting, including discussion of Board of Education Policies (examples: teaching of religion, textbook selection, policies on administration ofmedication to students) [Board Meeting Minutes, 1/22/09]

Obviously, this is going to be an uphill battle for Schieber . . . But at least he has his game face on.

Developing . . .

  2. Jason Grill has done a great job as our State Rep. A job to be proud of. Looking at your record on the school board alone, I'm going to have to say no thanks, Ron. We're good.

  3. Looks like "Schieber Fever" isn't going to catch on. What will I do with all these t-shirts. Or is it Shie-ber. Either way, I'm screwed.

I agree, I'm impressed with Grill. This other moron seems to be operating out of the republican playbook, apparently written by Karl Rove.

Notice how so many Republicans are using these tactics? Its part of their philosophy that ENDS JUSTIFY MEANS, hatched during the Nixon reelection campaign.

They've been brazenly doing it ever since. Narcissistic bunch of bastards, I'd say!

  5. Ron knocked on my door the other day. I thought it was a sexual predator checking in because he was now living in the neighborhood and legally had to let us know. No joke.

  6. Not Karl Rove. Jeff Roe. Same guy that is pulling Mayor Funky's strings. Well, him and Gloria.

  7. I got a call from the Schieber people. They basically lied and said it was a poll. Then they tried to get me to change my mind about voting for Grill last time. I was pissed that I wasted my time. We're not that stupid Mr. Schieber. And stop wasting your dough on those ridiculous mailers that look like you are running for student council. My 7th grader ran a better campaign and didn't insult constituents in the process. And put your tongue back in your mouth. Bleck.

  8. looks like a creep.

  9. What are you going to do if Scheiber wins? What happen to the assault charge against Jason from last election night 2008?

  10. The woman almost immediately dropped the charges.

    Tony, Tony, Tony,
Running for office around here has nothing to do with ideas about public policy, or actual governing, or evenshowing up for meetings. What's important is following the advice of campaign consultants and pitching yourself as a player headed for the TKK "Power Players" list.
Why do you think we have all these blowhards to constantly listen to, no clout in Jeff City, the corruption in county government, and the fiasco of KCMO.
These people work for the public? Get serious!

  12. Why would he ever take that picture?

    ReplyDelete
  13. I was around Ron during a softball season one year. Nice to know he hasn't changed a bit! What a clown.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Just curious, what's Mr. Schieber doing with his right hand in that picture?

    ReplyDelete
  15. Seems odd that you would take such an interest in a race north of the river.

Or for that matter that all of these people would bother to comment on it.

Grill's polling must be showing some issues with support.

Course Jason knows a thing or two about push polling.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Grill will get somewhere between 55 to 57 percent.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Didn't Ron S. actually quit the school board before his term was up?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Grill must be OK he has an A rating from The NRA. The Roe stooge didn't even reply to the questionaire.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Ron did quit the school board before his term expired.

    ReplyDelete
  20. 11:48... i havent been push polled by Grill. Tho some others from outstate called... must have bad phone lists.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Schieber might have a lawsuit in addition to an inevitable loss on his hands on Nov. 2nd.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Schieber did not leave the school board early. His term was up and he didn't run for re-election.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Missing 5 votes over 7 years - I'm not too concerned about that record.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Ron Schieber Won! Nuff Said! :-)

    ReplyDelete
  25. He only won because of the national landslide...If Grill wants he will win if he runs again in 2012. Schieber is an empty suit and everyone knows it.
