  1. This is so funny.

My mom lives in Sugar Creek and I've watched the almost nightly cop stops right in front of her house on Sterling.

The funniest part is that I'd been told by certain residents of SC that they drive as fast as they want down Sterling and Kentucky because the cops are their buddies and when they fly by one doing 90 mph, the cop will just wave and then go back to eating the 20 Quarter Pounders that they picked up at Mickey D's at 24 and River.

As soon as they spot a non-resident who's driving 1 mph over, the cops charge up their tasers and proceed to chase that foreigner down.

Sugar Creek P.D. is a sister force with the Mack Creek and Northmoor P.D.

You know the deal. They have 10 cops to harass anyone who doesn't live there who's driving through, but don't have a stoplight in the place.

    Which begs the question...

Why does a podunk town with no stoplights and only 1000 feet of road need 10 cops?

  2. Funkhouser did state that we would not be getting any speed cameras until the controversy over the red light cameras is settled. Why is Kansas City following in the footsteps of Sugar Creek?? They had red light cameras before Kansas City did. I guess this means look to Sugar Creek for the advancement of the police state in Kansas City.

  3. While murder and violent crime is on the rise all KCPD can do is focus on speeding tickets and jaywalking.

    KCPD lacks priorities and focus.

They lack the initiative to fight violent crime.
