Here's just another indication that Mayor Funky is in no way prepared to deal with Kansas City's problems.

This may be correct, it's not a bad watercooler observation . . . Still . . .

It wasn't a homespun, straight talk response . . . It was just a quote from a politician out of his league.
Obviously, Kansas City has real problems and Mayor Funky is ill-equipped to handle even his own wife. Shame on Bill Nigro and so many other Westport business dudes for still clandestinely backing The Mayor while he talks trash on them in the midst of local racial tension.
Between the Funk and our Police Chief Kansas City is finished.

I'm closing shop and moving away from Kansas City,,,, home of TIF, losing sports teams, a poor mayor, police chief, and city council. Keep your pot-holes, steel plates, and rising taxes and crime. SO LONG SUCKERS !!!

Not to mention they aspire to create much of the "controlled" chaos that sadly has hurt Westport's image.
Luckily Westport's current security force is the best it's ever had.
Hopefully for KC, the Plaza's troubles will work out.
Exactly how is this the Mayor fault. I believe it s the fault of irresponsible parents or where the parents involved also!! Ha Ha. I do see that alot you know kids following in parents foot steps. If my children had been involved in something like this I cannot even tell you what would happen but they sure do. Thugs are taking over every element in this city and no one is to blame except parents to busy getting high, drunk or whatever to pay attention to thier kids. A real shame. And I sure would not be blaming the Major. I guess that is easier to do than be a prent and raise your children with respect. And they wonder why people carry guns. I think I will buy another
