The Channel 9 News Live Taser!!!
Last night Lara Moritz and crew did the world a favor . . . They acted out an embarrassing scene that should convince just about everybody that the stuff on TV around 10 in the PM isn't always the news.
The Live Local News Live Tasering Session was right out of the Jerry Springer Show and it's a gag that news people have done for years now. It's nothing more than a skit that's incredibly formulaic and intended for the same kind of audience who watches America's Funnies Home Videos in order to see people getting hit in the groin. The aftermath interview was even funnier and I only wondered why one of the sports guys didn't volunteer for the honor to make the completely non-newsworthy display even more fun.
On a sad note, Moritz was clutching the racist Waldo rape suspect sign to her chest as a keepsake in order to remind us all that mainstream media news antics mean that real stories about disparity fall to the wayside.

That poor fucking dolt. Where did they round that dude up? That was pathetic. On another note, Tony, did you catch the story on the same broadcast abouth the jogger assaulted with a whip in Johnson County by three men. Two were described as having shaved heads and the third with a mohawk. They apparently said "this is our territory" and whipped the poor SOB. No indication of race was mentioned. Is there something there that was conveniently left out? I am dying to know.
