Think I'm kidding??? One of the MOST BRILLIANT TKC TIPSTERS who make a much better Mayor helped me find the money quote: "This is a Web site for those looking for information about booking Mark Funkhouser as a speaker for your professional, organizational, or other related event."
Personally, I would like hear the Mayor speak about snow removal on Kansas City streets without putting his foot in his mouth. Then again, anything the Mayor had to say regarding why this town seems to have taken so many (barefoot) steps backward during his tenure would be captivating . . . And maybe worth the Mayor focusing on yet another money making opportunity that has nothing to do with the business of Kansas City.

ReplyDeleteBetter yet will be the time when he works as a circus freak for Barnum and baliey Circus. That way, we will get to see him and the Squid for a week in a setting that reminds us who they are. And the Circus stays in town for a week and then moves on! Sweet!

I can't wait to see his client list :) On a serious note, there may be ethic issues if he takes money from people with business with the City. Let's be real, other than as a circus side show, no one in this town is going to hire this creep show for anything any more. But a developer with business before the council...

The Funk has no clue about anything regarding ethics. His ethical standard involves him being able to justify doing anything he sees fit to do. And the answer he gives as to why this is okay... because he says so!

Thus far he has struck out on EVERY endeavor that he has undertaken since prematurely resigning his Auditor's position. I regretfully include his current job as our Mayor.
ReplyDeleteHe needs the money. He desperately needs the money from his current position. He will be unemployable once we vote him out onto the cold, hard streets. He is an inadequate human, bless his heart.
Can he use his position as our Mayor as the centerpiece for this foolish venture? He does not have any other asset on which to lure business, but really, how low will he go?
P.S. I do not wish to hear his escapades regarding "humping the troll" Indeed, I do not care for that sort of thing.
