Last week there was a bit of tension between Council Dudes Terry Riley and Russ Johnson. The kerfuffle involves the Water Department, Rates and the embattled (and some day bumbling) director.
Apparently, the bickering was so bad there was talk of a bush up and heated words exchanged. At one point, Riley exclaimed "You guys are trying to get Bernardo (Garcia) fired!" Johnson denied the allegation but didn't offer much explanation of his standoffish behavior either . . . Later, Riley reportedly apologized for his behavior and Johnson accepted.
Onlookers noted that both of these two council people seem to be under pressure as of late and it might have something to do with talk of a "Council House cleaning" coming in the next election.

Bernardo and about five other directors need to get fired. Come on Troy, lets get busy.
