KICKASS TKC TIPSTERS know their stuff when it comes to campaign finance reporting . . . And they are offering some important perspectinve on history repeating itself for my favorite Council Lady.
On her last campaign finance report to the Missouri Ethics Commission, Beth reported $27.62 cash on hand and an outstanding debt of 52,260.00. Oddly enough, both in April and July she also reported 27.62 cash on hand and an outstanding debt of 52,260.00.
PEOPLE WITH BANK ACCOUNTS MIGHT NOTICS THAT THERE ARE NO BANK CHARGES AND NOT EVEN A SLIGHT FLUCTUATION!!!
Let's remember that her 2007 reports did include bank charges, and that was at a time when she had roughly $8,000 in the account.
AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS find it is difficult to believe that she could find a charge-free account with a consistent balance of 27.62.
I'm sure there is perfectly reasonable explanation for all of this and Beth Gottstein still has the only TKC CITY COUNCIL ENDORSEMENT . . . Currently, I am doing my best to convince a great many people that she's NOT filing false reports with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
But I'm only one man, with a penchant for napping.

Just send the check to her Dad in Iowa. That's where the debt is owed, even though she filed a false report with the MO Ethics Commission that presented it as a personal loan. Filing a false report with the Ethics Commission is a criminal act Beth.
It will be interesting to watch and see whether Beth's campaign account grows after her vote yesterday. When a politician is in financial trouble they often sell their votes like a commodity.
