Most things in life depend on perspective . . .
Fans of Ed Ford think that he was the only politico in City Hall that showed integrity during the Cauthen suspension/firing.
Meanwhile, a lot of folks are finally proud of City Council ladies who took some initiative and good advice. In particular, Cindy Circo deserves a bit of credit for making up her own mind and coming to her own conclusions about this Cauthen hot mess.
However . . . TKC always looks for the funny.
AND IT DOESN'T GET ANY MORE HILARIOUS THAN ED FORD AT CITY HALL YELLING AT THE COUNCIL LADIES TELLING THEM, "I THOUGHT WE WERE FRIENDS!!!"
When it comes to politics and City Hall people, that could be an example of some of the worst judgment EVAR. I've never trusted a woman of any kind and when it comes to female politicos, I'm always afraid I'm lose my soul just by talking to them but comforted by the fact that they're too scared to touch me in order to take it.
In any event . . . Friends are hard to find in politics but TKC TIPSTERS are consistently awesome and made me laugh by telling me about Ed Ford's pouting.
Jan, Beth and Cindy do not have three brain cells among them.
ReplyDeleteEd Ford has fans??? Now that's funny! I think he ran out of constituent fans a long time ago. Now he doesn't even have his girls and he cried about it on tv!
ReplyDeleteThe girls finally grew some balls and did the right thing for Kansas City. Ed needs to quit crying and get over it.
ReplyDeleteEd Ford is a miserable excuse for a City Council person. He claimed to not know that the Honeywell plant makes parts for nuclear weapons.
ReplyDeleteTotal f'ng loser.
im glad the true colors came out on ford he has had alot of people fooled im hoping the citizens of kansas city remember this during the next election of who backed who and gave away the money
ReplyDeleteOh bullshit!! The girls were whipped into line by the big boys, they fucking caved! The big boys in this instance being Jeff Roe, Skaggs, Louie Wright and Mark Siettmann.
ReplyDelete10:50 you make me laugh! Roe, Skaggs, Wright & Siettman don't have enough balls between them to make the firing of Cauthen work. Thank goodness Cauthen is gone, but don't give credit where it certainly isn't due!
ReplyDeleteSo. . . who chose Troy Schulte for the city manager? Louie Wright? Jeff Roe? Mark Siettmann? Hmmm. . .wasn't that Schulte and Wright sitting around drinking together at the River Market a couple of weeks before this went down?
ReplyDeleteNOW, who's making the back room deals -- Schulte!
You know what they say about friends and politics? If you want a friend get a dog.
ReplyDeleteAnd the dog will at least act ashamed when it shits on your carpet and chews up your home. Politicians, not so many manners.
ReplyDeleteLeave the small town lawyer alone. He is getting ready to run for Mayor and he is finding out that he gets left out of the loop every time something important is done at City Hall. So it will dawn on him any day now that he will not get much support of being Mayor since he can not keep up with what is being planned at City hall.
ReplyDeleteThe so called small town lawyer was left off the list, not because he supports Cauthen, but because he works in the light of day. I do not hink that there were ever the honest votes to keep Cauthen. Just the dirty votes from a bunch of whipped politicos. The votes were not steady nor solid.
