Kansas City's World Cup Bid

Local Soccer blog "The Back Post" (no fishsticks?) has a great round up of a recent presentation aimed at getting the World Cup somewhere around Kansas City in the distant future . . . If more than a handful of people cared, this would be a wonderful idea. However, recent big money soccer moves remind us this small time sport simply wants a chance to cash in on taxpayer money as well.
