Escalating School Violence Sparks Complaints From Kansas City Teachers

There was a stunning blow (heh) to constant Kansas City Missouri School District Propaganda last night . . . Teachers noted increasing violence and their fear that the problem isn't being addressed.

The most disappointing part is that, judging by initial reactions, School Board and District officials simply ignored the complaints.

The underlying conflict that nobody talks about . . . Reps for Teacher and Teacher Union Culture is white while KC School Board and District claim to have support in the African-American community . . . THEREFORE . . . Complaints from pesky, woefully outnumbered white people can be dismissed without much concern. I'm not trying to make this a racial issue (just a little) I'm simply describing the forces at play which keep Kansas City Schools incapable of making any real progress.

Still . . . It's hard to doubt KC Teachers when they speak of violence because they're on the front lines and with just a few statements they've helped to destroy a lot of the hype surrounding the new Superintendent who hasn't really changed much at The District.

KC Star: Many teachers fear that classroom incidents are on the rise, union president Andrea Flinders told board members Wednesday night.
