It's not bragging, just noting a fact that TKC TIPSTERS are now more influential than the d-bags drawing their last few paychecks at The Star.

KICKASS TKC TIPSTERS sent this blog info about LGBT Opposition a controversial "Life Changers" event and City Hall sponsorship last night.
FALLOUT: Today the City Council heard those complaints and took action despite the fact The Star didn't report the whole story about complaints starting on this blog:
"City pulls funds for Life Changers Conference"
And then . . .
AWESOME TKC TIPSTERS were good enough to provide some advance info about controversy related to minority hiring by the KCPD early this morning . . . And later on in the afternoon the info turns up on the TV News . . .
"Justice Dept. To Probe KCPD Hiring Practices"
A great many thanks to the people good enough to keep TKC readers and me in the loop. This dumpy blog is right in the middle of the most important issues in Kansas City while The Star is hanging out in JoCo somewhere worried about their silly and meaningless "journalistic credibility" . . . Overall readers contributing to this sexy blog new(ish) place are improving Democracy and Local Goverment transprency while looking at sexy bikini photos. Natch.

ReplyDeleteI know someone who is female and got hired by KCPD to be an officer. Except "hired" doesn't really work when they don't have any money to put anyone through the academy or expand payroll.
