ORANGE REVOLUTION DISGUST ON THE WAY!!! THE END OF THE GAG ORDER WILL ONLY FURTHER HUMILIATE THE CO-MAYORS AND KANSAS CITY!!!

It's going to get ugly again . . .

All of the enterprising reporters in town are salivating at the release gag order and more shame and disgust for Kansas City to pile on Mayor Funky and Gloria Squitiro.

Even the reporting today was spirited regarding the opportunity.

The NBC Action News Story was clear about the news: "Gag Order to Lift Friday in "Mammygate" Case"

Lynn Horsely at The Star seems a little confused on the subject: Bates gag order may be lifted Friday

KCTV5 writes a cryptic headline but the story just relays the gag order lifting details: "Bates' Settlement With City Not Done Deal"

And . . . As usual, I have one interesting detail that will spill in this ordeal that the local media will confirm or maybe be too embarrassed to mention . . . But the whole hot mess will be a typical Kansas City celebration of incompetence and lies featuring some discovery and sworn testimony that once again demonstrates Mark Funkhouser's inability to lead and nearly epic failure at the hands of his wife.

  3. Tell you what, if you missed the chance to sign the recall, all you need to do is go to the following site: www.mec.mo.gov , download a simple form, fill out that form, have it notorized, mail it to the appropriate address, and there you have it, an investigation into the nepotism allegations. Your identity is kept confidential, and your claims will be investigated first by the Missouri Ethics commission, and second by the Attorney General. Pretty easy stuff--git er done!! For more information, read Tom Bogdons piece on the subject at:

  4. Don't be like the Republicans were, trying soo hard to get Clinton impeached.

They just couldn't stand that he won... and were too impatient to just let him finish the term. What was the result? We kept him so preoccupied with his IMPEACHMENT, he hardly had enough time to do his job.

And so a few months after he left, we got attacked. No one will ever be able to answer the hypothetical that if the republicans had just accepted the election, let him do his job, do their OWN jobs since they were running the Congress at the time... that we'd have stopped the terrorists who prepared for early, but actually didn't attack until a few months after Bush took office!

Would we have stopped it had our government of both parties not been playing politiics? We'll never know! We only know that everyone was focused on Monica Lewinsky and not our own safety!

We'll never know. Maybe we should just leave the Mayor alone and let him do his job until the end of his term?

  5. Off topic, but Flunk needs to take advantage of the "cash for clunkers" program and get rid of his old, damaged and ugly car. Either that, or get all the body damage repaired. The city gives him- what?-$600 a month for it? The car is worth less.
