GLORIA SQUITIRO'S GREATEST HITS (ONCE AGAIN)!!!

The most important subject in Kansas City is the craziness of Gloria Squitiro . . . Here are the highlights that I'm taking from The Star's story which failed to give DeAnn Smith very much credit.
Real talk . . . DeAnn either did some amazing footwork as a reporter and filed a very well timed Sunshine Request . . . Doubtful . . . Or once again the KC Media Leak Fest of the MammyGate case is about to begin once again . . .
Here are some of my favorite Gloria Squitiro quotes in her own words . . . Which is important to remember:
"Fuck You Ruth Bates. You wanted to start something, well now you started something. Watch out. My lawyer is coming to get you."
Gloria Squitiro on promoting Kansas City:
"I told her that I was bitter and angry and that I couldn’t believe that I was living in this backward, Podunk city,"
Gloria on Beth (ew):
"She’s desperate for approval and attention, yet she's a joke in the eyes of most,” Squitiro writes about Councilwoman Beth Gottstein."
More good stuff for City Council relations:
"I despise Jan Marcason with a vigor and energy that knows no bounds."
About Councilman Bill Skaggs: "This guy is a moron if he thinks he can get out of this with his usual wink and nod."
Gloria Squitiro muses on feminism quite a bit in her notes . . . I like that she's playing the "female card" and is upset when far more educated ladies who didn't get in City Hall with the permission of their husbands don't come to her rescue:
"The hypocrisy of the female council members makes me want to puke."
Gloria on The Paper of Record:
"The Star knows no bounds of immorality,"
A nice image but certainly displays that Squitiro feels slighted almost continually:
"These macho men had just slapped the Mayor’s wife in the face. … The worst part was that I knew that my husband hadn’t even noticed the insult."
A cry for help from Gloria Squitiro:
"It amazes me how many people have come to tell me what to do; yet none have come to offer compassion, understanding, or empathy. Where is everyone?"
All great quotes that kind of show Squitiro as somebody who likes to scribble dirty notes and not as the so-called "First Lady." Somehow, I don't feel vindicated as to how nasty I've been noting this lady is . . . In fact, these direct quotes from Squitiro just leave a rather hopeless feeling for this town in control of a Co-Mayor that nobody elected.

As always there's more to come . . . I have a feeling this is just the start of the hot mess and it certainly reveals that Squitiro is a lady filled with rage that won't exactly encourage supporters or convince a jury.

Although well documented, I have a feeling your getting the smudge stick for this one. Well done, keep fighting the good fight
fucking weird.
jees- an old ladys diary is news?
It's the Mayor's old lady. And she's writing nasty stuff about everyone.
This woman has so much contempt for the people of Kansas City but her husband somehow cares about the average Joe?
I think not.
Why couldn't this come out while the recall effort was happening?
Too bad this didn't come out during the recall. This bitch needs to be put out of her misery.
well who doesnt hate the city council? or the school board? if you read my journal you would really get an eyeful about my neighbors too.
Seriously, just last week, I was thinking how KC would have a relatively quiet, long slide until the next election and we wouldn't have to deal with any more shenanigans from these two. But oh no, here comes another dump truck o' crazy. I think a certain someone needs to be set out on the curb for Bulky Item Pickup Day... oh wait, that takes an appointment and you have to wait two months... hell.
You said it Plaza Jen. What happened to a City that works?
Works? I thought the phrase was "a city with QUIRKS."
Can't believe this town would let these two in charge.
***NEWS FLASH***
Everyone's shit stinks
And just a certainly everyone's diary has personal thoughts that they have a right to keep private cause they might just be embarrasing if published.
Yeah, she's a whack job...we knew that a long time ago...she and the funk are both something special...but come on...it's her personal diary for Chr*st sakes...what the f*ck right does anyone have to view, let alone publish for public consumption someone's personal diary...is nothing sacred for f**k sake?
It's not like she was trying to make money by publishing this...then it would be fair game.
This little injustice in our shit pile of a city actually makes me feel sorry for her. And that's some whacked sh*t!
Beth is not a joke.
