Councilman Riley On The Outskirts

In the tradition of Mr. Alvin "Should Have Been Mayor" Brooks who also lived on the very edge of Kansas City . . . TKC would like to congratulate Councilman Terry Riley on his recent purchase of a new home.

Here's what a Kickass TKC Tipster writes:
"Check the Jackson county deeds. Terry bought a new house on 6/24/09, WAAAY out on the southeast edge of the 5th district. We're talking BFE here."
It should be noted that Councilman Riley is still within the 5th District . . . But not by much. This kind of runs contrary to talk that Riley is contemplating a Mayoral Run . . . Candidates on the outskirts of town tend not to do well. Nevertheless, the Council Dude has a new house and a new baby that those are actually nice things and a welcomed change from usual cesspool gossip that TKC hears from City Hall.

  2. pls define BFE - you didn't tell us where he moved to, or your tipster didn't.

Give up some facts instead of stock photos.

People don't believe allegations without facts.

Please tell me why you wouldn't leave the cesspool if you had the opportunity.
I would certainly enjoy living deep in the middle of a shithole. Oh wait, that describes your accomodations, eh TKC?

  6. Terry moved to my neighborhood. He and his wife bought a foreclosed home at a very good price. I talked with him last week and he and his family will make a great addition to our neighborhood. Several KCMO firefighters and cops also live in the same neighborhood.

  7. BFE= Silverthooth Fahey Farms, Have to look it up on Jackson Co's site because city site is always behind. I find it interesting to know that he moved into the Lee's Summit School District. As a former Member of KCMO Schools and former VP of the National Association of Black School Board Members, maybe confirms what some of us wish wasn't true.

  8. I deleted the specific address and reposted the comment.

People can look it up on other sites if they want but as best as I can I won't be allowing anyone to post a specific elected official's address (or anyone's address) on this blog.
