Kansas City Democrats for Mike Talboy!!!

I just finished bothering people at Mike Talboy's first campaign fundraiser.

I really like the lead photo in this post . . . Remember what I've been saying about Latinos stepping up their game in politics? Talboy photographed here with Genaro Ruiz of Congressman Cleaver's staff and Crispin Rea of Mayor Funky's Administration are proof that I'm right.

Things I learned . . .

As of yet, nobody is even bothering to run against Talboy because he's done such a great job and because his part of KC has been a Democrat stronghold since the days of Truman.

Also . . . Democrats love cheese.



Out in the parking lot it was nice to see Diana Kander and City Council Lady Jan Maracason sharing information.



Theresa Garza was in attendance with a supporter whose name you should know.



BEST OF ALL . . . A DEFIANT AND AWESOME HARRIS WILDER WAS IN THE CROWD MOVING AND SHAKING AMONG THE DEMOCRAT PARTY LEADERS!!!

Essential information: Talboy wins without question.

TKC was happy to provide a look at the people who really run Kansas City politics mingling among themselves.

No other so-called "newsies" were in attendance despite some rather interesting information being exchanged.
