TKC BREAKING NEWS!!! KANSAS CITY HUMAN RELATIONS DEPARTMENT REPORT FINDS IN FAVOR OF MINORITY CONTRACTORS AGAINST H&R BLOCK!!!

Big news is coming down from the TIF Commission soon.

Wednesday Morning there's a public meeting and the TIF Commission is scheduled to render their decision on Wednesday as to whether or not to impose liquidated damages for failure to comply (intentionally deceive) with the City's MBE program.

There's a damning Human Relations Department Report that has yet slated to be released and KICKASS TKC TIPSTERS WANT READERS OF THIS BLOG TO KNOW ABOUT IT FIRST!!!

Background . . . There are actually TWO VERSIONS of this report and the previous one is even harder on J.E. Dunn and H&R Block . . . But even the latest softcore report puts blame on two of the biggest Kansas City construction companies out there . . .

Check it:

KANSAS CITY'S HUMAN RELATIONS DEPARTMENT WRITES THAT THE "STANDARD WAS NOT MET" ON THE H&R BLOCK PROJECT!!!

Here's the money quote from the softcore version:

"The cost associated with Rodriquez Electrical indicated a commercial useful function was not performed by the minority firm, and the general contractor did not utilize "best faith efforts" on Rodriquez Electrical portion of the H&R Block Project."

Now . . . Why are there two reports?

Good question . . . Word on the street is that J.E. Dunn is applying political pressure and threatens to tear apart the City's MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) program if the TIF Commission rules against the H&R Block project. Also, there's talk that Kansas City could be on the line as well for big bucks if the TIF Commission finds in favor of minority contractors.

Even better . . . Blame is being cast of City Manager Wayne Cauthen for having the report cleaned up which initially alleged details of despicable tactics used by H&R Block and J.E. Dunn in order to fake minority participation.

What all of this really means is that big companies are dictating how Kansas City reports are put together . . . More on that later.

All of this could come to a stunning conclusion at 9:30 AM in a TIF Commission Meeting. Or there could be just another delay . . .

However, even by the City's own standards . . . Minority construction firms have been left out of the so-called Downtown Renaissance and big companies seem to be running Kansas City Government.

Developing . . .

  1. I know several "minority" contractors that use a figurehead to hide a white company. The whole concept is flawed and corrupt.

  2. To anon 9:02, if the system is flawed and corrupt it is TOTALLY the fault of a greedy white guy who wants to take advantage. It is a white guy who uses a minority to hide a white company not the other way around as you suggest. The white guy makes the biggest bucks out of the deal. The minority participant is an expendable patsy. You have been duped.

The hombre smiling behind the sombrero making big bucks -to him- is the one laughing.

Idiots abound. It takes the smarts of an educated white guy to make the wheels of commerce turn. Not some 40 oz. sucking wanna be.
