I know, I know . . . It's a valuable asset to the community and whatever . . . But it's also disheartening to know that stadium funding of all varieties still take a high priority over neighborhoods . . . And the place mostly sits vacant.

I guess I thought this stadium was a park that was part of a neighborhood.

ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't the Park Department just sell the stadium and let some one with a little bit of business savvy run it like a real business?
ReplyDeleteThat's what they did with the golf courses and they've been a lot better since! No city money or subsidies required. Matter of fact, they probably make money for the city now.
