Small time Catholic papers are reporting that the number of bishops who have publicly criticized the University of Notre Dame for honoring President Barack Obama has reached 48, with archbishops in Kansas City and Washington, D.C. adding their disapproval. Archbishop Joseph Naumann of Kansas City wrote a scathing attack regarding the appearance in the archdiocesan newspaper, The Leaven.

When will we end the practice of tax exemptions for churches since they refuse to hold up their end of the bargain and stay out of politics?

The Catholic church should LOVE Obama... yes on the one hand he might support abortion but the future of the church population isn't white people anyway. They've quit making babies. It's brown ones. Assuming your grandchildren arent living under Shiria law like they will be in Europe, there'll be lots of little church donors. The only problem is the issue of how much money they'll have to drop in the baskets.
ReplyDeleteI actually went and read Naumann's drivel...same old, same old tired regurgutated shit. Also loved how he worked in the part about stem cell research...Think about it, if there is a God, would he really approve of his name being used to foster such divisive hate as Naumann spews...I for one hope not. If there is a Hell, I'm hoping he burns in for his sins against his fellow humans.
