Raglan Road is Irish and depressing and sad

A couple of weeks ago I went into Raglan Road in the P&L District with a friend a bit after lunch . . . The place was a tomb and the waitress nearly insisted we take lunch menus. We only drank instead.

A recent video of the place made by two traveling d-bags is equally depressing.

Some poor Polish woman pretending to be Irish is dancing on tables for no more than 3 bored looking dudes in the crowd . . . This is pretty much the essence of P&L District dinning.

I'm no financial genius but I don't imagine this is the kind of "Downtown Renaissance" that was touted. In fact, Raglan Road at the P&L District is only slightly less depressing than the bittersweet prose of Angela's Ashes . . . Or at least the parts of the movie I viewed when I wasn't all over some chubby Irish broad I dated at the time.

  1. To be fair Tony, going in "a bit after lunch" isn't a time when you'd reasonably expect to find a big crowd in a downtown restaurant. And the dancer is Danielle Fitzpatrick and she's from just outside Dublin...and not even the Polish section.

  2. See Cialis side effects for TKC's ongoing "36 hr erection and need to call the doctor" like problem with P&L.

He get's aroused and then the blood pressure goes up, the face flushes, there's muscle pain and he then spews out only to not come down. Tony this is not a healthy situation Please call you political physician.

His diagnosis. Move on to another hard on pill. The one you're on now isn't working.

  3. I presume all the other joints were jumping at the P&L too?? And Wesport. And the Plaza....

By the way - there's a recession outside.

    Wake up Bozo!
