House Republicans cut health insurance for 20,000 children out the Governor Jay's supplemental budget request today . . . It's a typically ignorant move that doesn't realize where the economy is headed and perceptions about the party currently in power. On the bright side, it's part of the reason why Missouri Republicans will face increasing competition for their stronghold in rural areas that have been battered by the economy and may reject empty rhetoric aimed at preserving the status quo and the otherwise divisive GOP party line that strangely hasn't changed much.
