Bi-State Beatdown "Controversy"

The Los Angeles riots of 1992 took place in a city that was rife with with racial tension, gang violence and urban discontent . . . While some of those conditions exist in the greater Kansas City area . . . I'm pretty sure this town isn't ready to rise up and protest the police laying the smackdown on some dude who was involved in a chase all over Kansas City.

Consider, there were a great many reactionary d-bags who didn't feel sorry for a pregnant woman bleeding out on the side of the road in another recent police controversy . . . So, while nobody wants to see police brutality, I'm pretty sure the hyperbolic tones, near panic and sensationalism of a recent NBC Action News Skychopper police beatdown video doesn't exactly reflect community concern . . . A look at their report notes that they had to go on the street and ask people for their "outrage" because folks weren't really up in arms on their own . . . Still, on the bright side I would like to note the first sign of bi-state cooperation in years!!! And that bodes well for more cooperation on tax increases. Ugh.
