TKC EXCLUSIVE!!! AN UNTOLD KANSAS CITY CREDIT CARD CONTROVERSY!!!

With Kansas City in so much financial trouble, a recent resignation at City Hall is exceptionally poignant.

According to a couple of KICKASS TKC TIPSTERS a recent high level resignation at City Hall is related to the discovery of big, inappropriate credit card bills. The abrupt resignation was a result of the official being presented a variety of options:

  • Pay the money back.

  • Resign.

  • Or go to court.

  • Obviously, the most expedient option was picked and fellow City Hall workers are befuddled as to why anyone (especially a senior City Hall worker) would expect that pricey items on Kansas City credit cards would go unquestioned. Then again, that's kind of a metaphor for the way that so many at City Hall have dealt with the massive debt this town faces . . . So who could blame a City Hall official for expecting the same treatment (?) and hoping for Kansas City to yet again turn a blind eye to suspicious expenditures.

A special thanks to TKC TIPSTERS who have come to different conclusions about the subject of this story . . . Nevertheless, with the help of these AWESOME FOLKS (!!!) I'm glad that readers of this blog and people interested about what's happening with Kansas City's finances don't have to depend only on incomplete coverage related to financial matters in Kansas City.

    2. If she is head of the department that collects earnings tax what a joke. They are so screwed up they have no idea what's going on and then we find out the top person is stealing from the taxpayers?

    3. You can't blame the city employee for this. They are only following after the example that former Mayor Cleaver set. He took the family to disney, flight and all on one of the city's credit cards. It wasn't until someone else found out that the expenses were paid back. Maybe this person has a car wash too that the taxes haven't been paid.

    4. Yes Anon 658PM until he was brought to task by the Lion of the Press Corps at the time, Yael T Abouhalkah. Yeech, look at the lame Abouhalkah now! Back in those days he stood in front of the room to call all the miscreant politicos to task. CLeaver was his finest moment.

    12. if that was a white man head of a department they would have him brought up on charges and lose his retirement and all but since she is waynes girl i doubt that the city will have her pay back what she owes.
