One of the best TKC TIPSTERS noticed something about a TV newscast that has been staring me in the face for a few months . . . But now that he mentioned it . . . I realize that he's absolutely correct.
KMBC'S LARRY MOORE AND KELLY ECKERMAN HAVE THE MOST ICY COLD ON SCREEN RELATIONSHIP IN LOCAL NEWS!!!
I can't help but think that the KMBC discrimination lawsuit has something to do with it.
Most of the time, it seems that Moore doesn't even talk to Eckerman and he'd rather chat with whatever sports guy is working or even resort to talking with Busby. Really, I'm going to check out their newscast in a few minutes and now that I think of it . . . I think I saw Moore look out of the corner of his eye as if he was going to backhand Eckerman . . . Which would obviously help her case.
Still, as tense and unpleasant as it is to watch those two talk over each other and show obvious disdain . . . At least their inside . . .
I've also noticed that Maria Antonia's old ass is now out in the field covering car crashes, house fired and a bunch of other mundane stuff . . . Sadly, Latinas should be accustomed to being kicked out in the field after uttering a complaint . . . Things haven't changed so much.
Anyhoo . . . It's something to look for and my only speculation regarding this obvious hostility is that Moore might not have enjoyed being used as an example of someone who didn't need to be good looking to read the news from a teleprompter.
Dump Kelly, keep Larry.

Also, he's probably afraid of even looking at Eckerman. You know how guys do when they have to work with a woman who's filed a case..she's just a bad look from filing another one.
Larry's playing this one safe. He still needs to go, though.
