Kansas Mixes it up!!!

This just might be the best news I've heard about the Sunflower State -

Minorities a Majority in 3 Cities in Kansas

New Census numbers show that minorities now make up at least half the population in four of Kansas' 18 largest cities.

The figures show that non-Hispanic whites are now a minority in Liberal, Dodge City and Kansas City, Kan. In Garden City, at least 50 percent of the residents are minorities . . . The numbers show that 16 of the 18 cities have become more racially diverse since 2000. The suburban communities of Derby, Olathe and Overland Park showed some of the fastest gains in minority population.

While posh images of celebrity interracial marriage are hard to criticize . . . There's little doubt that this rise in minority supremacy is almost completely due to more Latinos in Kansas . . .



And while I think this is a great thing . . . I'm sure other opinions might vary but nobody has ever been able to tell me how immigration authorities or anyone else for that matter can distinguish between a legal resident Latinos and illegal immigrant Latinos without first engaging in unfair, unjust and sometimes illegal racial profiling . . . Look for this Catch-22 to become the subject of even more contentious debate as someone from the X-files once said: "No man can fight the future."
