Lee's Summit E-Mail Catfight!!!

Okay . . . I'm not going to go into too much detail here but I just wanted to give folks a look into how Internet fights go nuclear within a very short timespan.

Recently, TKC tipsters tell me that there's a huge fight brewing between a local activist mom and a Missouri Politico.

Apparently, there's a very widely circulating e-mail fight between Sherri Tucker of the Lee's Summit Autism Support Group and Representative Jeff Grisamore from Missouri District 47 of the Republicans.

There are all kind of fun allegations in this fight including but not limited to:

  • Grisamore making more than 100k a year from his gig as the head of a charity - A charge that he vehemently denies.

  • Campaign Donations that Grisamore doesn't like but may or may not have returned.

  • And some interesting back and forth from a local Listserve . . .

Of course, I'm not going to deconstruct any of the correspondence but it might be something for KC Media watchers to make note of as this ongoing fight has created a huge flame war in a local suburb and doesn't look to be subsiding any time soon.

    1. Tony writes " I'm not going to go into too much detail here".
How true! Tony just writes a couple of smear lines with no information at all!

It looks like smear merchant Jason Norbury is feeding info to Tony.

    2. What else would you expect from a yellow rag like this?

Fill space by making a big deal about something you have no direct knowledge of. Tony, I'm going to help you out on your career path. Move to one of the coasts. Then you might find gainful(?) employment with one of the rumor monger newspapers.

    3. Do either of you know what he is talking about? I know for a fact that this story is true and that is has nothing to do with Jason Norbury.

In fact, there is a lot more to the story.

Tony did Grisamore a service by not telling the whole story.

    4. I received mail from Jeff Grisamore's campaign claiming he "knows more about day to day struggles than anyone".

As a voter recently laid off from my job being outsourced, I find it hard to believe someone making close to $100,000 knows more than me about struggles in life.

Stop having kids at 40, you selfish dolts.

    7. That is too stupid to even respond to. Obviously your mother must have had issues with you as well.

    8. Are your children receiving free lunches?

      2. Is is true that your wife is expecting again? Isn't Prader Willi a genetic disorder that is passed on from the father?

      3. Did Bill Kenney pay for your house? Is is true that you don't have a mortgage?

      4. Is is true that your charity is now going through a charity clearing house? Are there public records available to show what your charity revenues are and what salary you are being paid?

      5. Did you vote against children with autism being able to go to a different school if their school was not doing it's job?

      6. Have you demanded that the Lee's Summit school district start providing the services that children with special needs are federally guaranteed?

      7. Did you ask to be on the Missouri Blue Ribbon Autism Panel and were told that NO Representatives were going to be on the Panel?

      8. You stated that you were going to be on the Missouri Autism Commission. The list came out and you were not on it. Why not?

      9. What is the name of the church that you were a minister at?

      10. Have you ever worked for a public corporation? Does your resume only have charitable organizations for your employment?

      11. Are you or have you received Medicaid for your family?

      12. Did your charity provide your vehicle and boat? Are they still providing your vehicles?
