TKC Late Night Tunes

Upon leaving high school I figured that all clubs in KC played La Bouche not just because the name of the group sounded sessy but also because the kind of teh ghey group typified the Mid-90's Kansas City club scene. Three years later when I turned 21 I was surprised that all of the clubs in KC were still playing tracks from one of my favorite crappy bands. Sadly, I think this group still has some tunes on playlists around town despite the fact that it has been nearly a decade since they were popular.

Anyhoo . . . I'm going to start posting some of my favorite music clips overnight. If you have a local band with an online video that I can embed please send me a link. Otherwise, I have no problem subjecting late night TKC visitors to my horrible taste in music.

  1. Paw is the only local band that ever mattered.

  2. Paw, probably better than Sscion.

  3. PAW sucked pretty bad, are not from Kansas City, and sold their ass and their fans out at the first shitty contract that came to them. Fuck Paw.

Of course, I'd take a spike through my penis over the SScion.

  4. If you can get ahold of a copy of The Expassionates' first recording, (1998) "Verse, Chorus, Bridge", you will be impressed. Far and away the best recording ever made in Kansas City and completely locally recorded and produced.
