Okay, so Ed Wolf isn't really the Chief of Staff in Mayor Funky's office and Gloria Squitiro gets to assume the job duties of whoever she wants.
But there's an upside . . . Kickass TKC Tipsters tell us . . .
ED WOLF ALMOST NEVER SHOWS UP FOR WORK!!!
That's right, a lot of folks driving by Mr. Wolf's Midtown home as of late have noticed the guy mowing his lawn in the middle of the day during the work week. The rumor is confirmed by City Hall denizens who can't get a hold of the guy at all and first attributed his absence to rumors regarding his health . . . Thankfully, he's not sick and it seems like the guy can do a better job of staying out of Gloria Squitiro's way from home. And why should he show up? The Co-Mayor does his job for the most part . . . I guess there's a reason why the dude is probably the hardest person to get a hold of at City Hall.
It's pretty clear that the hardest part of his gig is justifying the quarter million he pulls down from the City every year.
Still, for that kind of money, in a "City that works" it seems like former City Auditor Funky might want to make sure this town is getting something in return for all of that money and not simply allowing the old dude to phone it in.
Sadly, this is yet another instance where Mayor Funky refuses to hold family or friends accountable for their actions.

I saw that coming, Ed has been out of the picture for months. It is pretty obvious that he is not playing a major role any longer. I never see him in any of the meetings I attend and he should be at some of them.
I wonder if he knows how not to violate HIPPA laws.......

I wish it was something Tony was making up but Wolf is notorious for being out of contact and setting up meetings for which he laters backs out of or denies.
What controversy...??? Big Ed Wolf got in by deception and is staying for the paycheck. Not many people know what he does (even though the Leader of Team Orange told us he was indispensible). And fewer care whether either he or the Squid are in charge.
The staffers are from the B and C teams. Even according to the Funk although he won't admit it in public he did chastise them for forgetting to file his volunteer ordinance which, being an issue near and dear to him, makes me believe that in a clumsy attempt to deflect blame and consequence for his own stupidity, he was more than happy to offer them up and point out yet another instance of their ineptitude.
With $250,000 a year take-home, Ed should be ashamed he isn't paying a laborer. Does Ed intend to take every tax payer dollar he receives into the hereafter? Ed get back to work. Or resign. Have you no selfrespectb left?

That Funkhouser appointed him was the first sign that he was going to be a giant disappointment.

It is now apparent that Funk and Gloria have turned Ed Wolf into an ineffectual cuckold-like character. Ed is now just another worthless City employee, sopping up a huge paycheck and giving nothing back in return. I would start here with needed city hall cutbacks.
