FUNKHOUSER FINED!!!

Looks like longtime Funky worker Dottie took the fall for Mayor Funky's "rag tag" i.e. incompetent campaign finance record keeping . . .
Mayor Mark Funkhouser has settled his campaign finance case with the Missouri Ethics Commission, agreeing to pay personally $1,000.

An agreement signed this week requires Funkhouser to pay the $1,000 within 45 days and makes him liable for up to $3,400 more in fees in the event of other violations over the next two years.

The Ethics Commission found that Dottie Engle, then a campaign worker, had spent funds when she was not authorized. State law limits expenditures of campaign funds to the candidate, treasurer and deputy treasurer.
Rumor has it there may be more charges against Funky Bunch because there was no mention of the missing 80k.

This may seem like a minor infraction to some . . .

TKC SAYS THIS FINE IS SIMPLY A REFLECTION OF MAYOR FUNKY'S INCOMPETENCE AND THE QUESTIONABLE ETHICS INSIDE HIS CAMPAIGN AND OFFICE!!!

For quite awhile, Mayor Funky's supporters questioned the ethics and intentions of everyone who opposed the Mayor . . . NOW THE IT'S MAYOR FUNKHOUSER WITH A SIGNIFICANT STAIN ON THE RECORD OF HIS ADMINISTRATION!!!

Simple campaign finance laws have thankfully removed him from his high horse, the Mayor now can't arrogantly assert that he's a "man of principle" without a close examination of his record.

In other words . . . The Emperor (and his wife) have no clothes. (ew)

  1. Maybe it's time to return the Iphone Gloria and get out of the office while you can Gloria?

  2. The bastard mayor turned on friends and co workers. He is despicable! squit wrote checks and forged a campaign treasurer's name. No joke... she did and she was called on it by the victim.
They are trying to blame two volunteers. Good people who now hate them. Justifiably so.

  4. To hear him describe it, it's like a victory.

I don't know what victory starts with cutting a check to the ethics commission.

  5. I'm wondering how Funk will spin this to be either A. The Former Mayor's Fault, or B. Wayne Cauthen's fault, or C. The American People's Fault since they are so bad with money. You know the Funk won't take the blame.

  6. I have no life. I hijacked poor Stringfield's term and now I am stepping on the funk train wreck. I have no purpose in life. I won in court against Jackson County, but I fucked myself by not making sure my legal fees were paid. See how smart I am! Now I will pontificate to you about the great funk. I will continue to wring sympathy because of my kid's tragedy, but I am worthless. This I know to be true.

  8. Does this mean Dottie has a criminal record?
