Better than anyone else, the Kansas City blogopshere has reported all of the drama in the Democratic primary in Missouri’s 44th House District.
What I'm reporting exclusively today is some pretty passionate charges thrown at Jason Kander.
Also, The thing I love about Kansas City is that Democrat infighting is FAR MORE SPIRITED than anything witnessed in elections against Republicans.
I'm going to list some examples of some charges thrown at Kander which attest to that fact:
Anyhoo . . . The "exclusive" (hehe) part of this blog post is that top Democrats in Kansas City are kicking the ass of Kander all over the Internets and in local Democrat gossip circles. By the way, TKC gets double bonus points for coining the phrase "Kicking the Ass of Kander."
Here's what is funny to me . . . The Afganistan Vet probably could see this coming and will have to continue shaking hands with these same Dems after the primary. AND I THOUGHT IT WAS JUST REPUBLICANS WHO DIDN'T SUPPORT THE TROOPS. It's all a lot of Kansas City Dem infighting that's essential but still rather hilarious at times. That's not to say that Kander doesn't have a lot of ardent defenders and promoters of his candidacy but the chatter against him is growing increasingly loud along with notice that a few of his former supporters are notoriously silent . . . CCP crew, we're all looking at you despite your endorsement of the British nanny-like Amy Coffman.
Eh, the gossip always goes on but what's notable here is that Internets chatter is a great indicator as to who is winning this race . . . At least among the dozen or so people who still vote in South Kansas City.

ReplyDeletejason wanted a vote for a favor which was he would help pass a law in which the cities would have to get approval from the governor to lower the american flag to honor someone. being a vet also made it all the more impulseive that jason would attempt to bride someone like that.
ReplyDeleteIf you vote for Kander, you ARE voting Republican according to a database run by the Missouri Democratic Party. Jason Kander is classified as "leaning Republican."

People who have met Kander at their front door love him, because he will say anything to earn their trust. He is a snake oil salesman. Jason the Liar will say anything.
It does not matter if he tells the person at the door that he is Pro-Life when he has just filled out 5 questionnaires where he committed to be Pro-Choice. Lies mean nothing to Kander.
Take for example when he lied to the UAW. He told the UAW screening committee that one of his opponents had lied about what kind of car they owned. Then when he was caught in the lie he lied again about what he had actually said. Lies mean nothing to Jason the Liar.
His wife, Diana, is the preeminent political mud-slinger in Kansas City. Need a secret hit piece without a disclaimer? See Diana Kander. Need to lie about your record but want to call it Framing the Issue? Call Diana Kander. Even though both Kanders profess to be Jewish (except for the times that Jason the Liar lets Catholic voters think he is Catholic when he tells them that he went to Meige) Diana Kander still distributed an anti-Semetic hit piece against Beth Gottstein in 2007. (I have no problem picking on Beth for being insane but leave her religion out of it.) When you ask Diana about the Gottstein hit piece, she simply shrugs and says "I did not have complete control over that." I guess she was "Just following orders."
As far as the "not supporting the troops" line, Tony please tell us what Kander DID when he was in Afghanistan? Jason will not tell us. It is all very Hush Hush. If a veteran wants to run on their war record, they need to be willing to discuss their war record and not just point to a black box marked "heroism."
Most recently, Kander put out an email warning people that he may be the subject of a third party hit piece soon. Do not be surprised if a very poorly done and malicious attack piece hits sometime soon, but do not be so sure that Jason and Diana are not behind the "attack" themselves. The two of them will stop at nothing to win and that includes trying to make Jason into a martyr. The Kanders are just sick enough to do that.
Of course, they have a lot of time on their hands to scheme together because neither of them, both attorneys, can hold a job. Jason is in "private practice" now after losing his job at the Montee Law Firm earlier this year. After leaving a Union-busting law firm less than a year before that. Diana used to work for one of the big Republican firms in town but she left there very quicklya and very quietly.
Democratic activists and officeholders oppose Jason Kander because they know Jason Kander and his wife.

What other experinece does Jason have, other than selling himself? He has no significant real life experience other than law school. He hasn't practiced law for any significant period of time, he hasn't been in business. He hasn't done anything other than try and build support for his candidacy - IN HIS ENTIRE LIFE.

Among the Democrats he has always caused more trouble than he is worth and has failed to cooperate with most people. I don't know Coffman, but I've met the Kanders and they represent everything I dislike about politics. I love young, bright, ambitious people, but not ones that decide at 20-something that they are going to change the world without paying their dues.

By the way, here is another Jason lie. He is claiming to have the endorsement of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) and that LGBT group does not endorse in state and local races.
Kander has done nothing but lie consistently through out his short, unremarkable political career. Earlier people noted that he hasn't paid his dues. This is my biggest complaint about the guy. He isn't looking out for anybody but himself.

You really need to check out this post. And wonder how long Dan will stand by Jason. After all, when was the last post you saw Dan make on behalf of Mark Funkhouser? Sounds like Dan's abandoned ship on that one - let's take bets on when he'll abandon Kander.
He already has nailed Kander once....
Kander is a good guy. People just need to give him a chance. He was worked hard and given to his country. He deserved the CCP nomination but had it taken from him at the last minute. Take a look at Kandeer and you'll see that he has a lot of integrity.
